Hi, could you recomend smartphone with screen size like max 3? At least not very much smaller, with good ratio (not very narrow)? What smartphone could now or in the near future replace mi max 3? I would like to purchaise something similar...

Take a photo in low light then look at the thumbnail in bottom left, you will see the photo brightness change after a moment, this is hht.

Better color gamut, (85% ntsc vs 72%) deeper blacks and higher brightness. The only way mi max 3 screen is 'awful' is if you are used to an amoled or flagship quality IPS. It is perfectly good otherwise. Speakers are worse than mi max 2 but better than mi max 1. Again, only bad compared to phones which cost 3x its price.

Chinese version Max 3 camera app has HHT function, which can enhance low light photo automatically. This feature has been removed in global version Max 3.

ippoippo, 12 Dec 2019honestly, is there any better phone than this?Indeed one of the best phones ever made. Been using it for six months and no single issue so far. I keep my battery charged between 40 to 80% always. This has helped me maintain heaithy battery life for the phone.

Perfect device for Gaming ! MIUI 11 Did not affect quality. PUBG is still amazing on big screen, HD on Erangel and Miramar, normal on Sanhok and smooth on Vicendi, 60 FPS on all, not a bit of lagg. Asphalt Xtrem max everything. COD medium graphics but high FPS. Asphalt 9 is playable on High but I put low to compete.
Almost all my games on max settings, no laggs, I'm very happy with it ! I will not put Android Q tho, because it's base on futures more powerful devices, don't wanna slow it down. I love it too much !!! :)

Still a very good device tho.
I strongly suggest not to upgrade to Android Q tho.
Benchmark are bit lower with MIUI 11...
Q will be to much to handle for an "older" device.
Security patches are not "necessary" since, if I was a hacker I would focus on new updates, no you ?
Enjoy what you have, we get nothing from updates really.

just got MIUI 11 today. Global version. i updated and it was smooth. i believe by January or February we will get ANDROID 10
