Is there any chance that a successor of this device is coming in the future or xiaomi just discontinued this mi max series?

I don't understand why in the battery life ranking the "Mi Max 3" has only got a score of 3 hours more than the "Asus Zenfone 6 ZS630KL". I have had both of them and the Xiaomi lasts much more than the Asus. The battery of the Asus phone was always depleting without a reason.

It has bootloader unlocked from shop so I will install Xiaomi.eu rom instantly when I will get it. You should get china version for cheaper price and install Xiaomi.eu rom for it to make it better without any bloatware.

I read often that there is no Original global firmware, is that really true? I want to buy the 6/128 from trading shenszhen ...they have the
"Original (EN/CHN)"
and the
"Global Original(Multilanguages DE,EN,ES ...)"
Which one should i take now? Which is netter? I live in Europe ...

Notice how in time people tend to remember the awesome phones, such as the hd2, g2, i9300(granted it sucked for developers), redmi note 3(SD), galaxy s5, op1, op3, g3, etc. All of these phones have something in common - more features than Apple is worth in usd and a nice 16:9 screen ratio while still being fairly small in width and height. People don't want a borderless phone that they drop every 6 or so months, they want a phone that they can keep for a fairly long time and go to it as a back up if the phone they currently have breaks/gets stolen/sinks/gets lost/etc.

All the phones have... moreSo because all manufacturers have moved to these ridiculus tv control aspests ratios of 19:9, 20:9 or 21:9 we must accept it as a good thing? And no mi max 3 is not a 16:9 phone since it is less wide than mi max 2 which is a true 16:9 phone.

i've been using mi max 2 from the first month of release. still running great and i plan to skip mi max 3 and go for mi max 4.
now i'm disappointed that they not going to continue the lines.
now i'm in dilemma for which phone will be my next.
i really need big screen with big battery.
