The opinions given are misleading. The Mi Max 3 screen has less bezel, larger battery and better camera than the Mi Max 2 with Oreo out the box! The Mi Max 2 is cool but why not update?

Lack of 60fps (at least 1080p) video capture kills it for me... otherwise it would have been a worthwhile upgrage from my mi max 2 with a cracked screen.

Mi max 3 practically not big phone .It's breadth is more or less same in relation to mi max 2.Only negligible it is long.

I think that getting the mi max 3 is foolish. The mi max 2 is almost just as good and you can buy it for cheaper. Besides, mi max 3 is too big anyway.

But in terms of features Mi Max 3 is rather incremental upgrade, there is nothing groundbreaking different compared to Mi Max 2. Better SoC (still, just a mid-ranger), bigger screen (and better quality from what I've seen), some AI gimmicks no one cares about, Note 5 camera and that's it. Mi Max 2 is only year old, I wouldn't upgrade.
