Hello friends, in my previous message I gave some of the anticipated specifications of Xiaomi Mi Max 3. But, it would really become a record breaking phablet when just one variable is altered. The DISPLAY ASPECT RATIO of the phablet. The device would become the world's first perfect ANDROID ONE PHABLET with dual LTE connectivity if it has the following specifications.

        1. Snapdragon 660
        2. Minimum 4GB of RAM
        with 64GB internal storage
        3. Two LTE sim slots since 660 can support that
        4. Dedicated micro-sd card slot
        5. 1920 x 1200 IPS LCD display (should not be LTPS)
with Gorilla glass. 16:10 is the perfect DISPLAY ASPECT RATIO for a phablet.
        6. Simple Sony 12MP camera with EIS and Flash (Should not be a dual camera in order to use Google's Pixel 2 camera)

        7. Sony 8MP front camera with flash
        8. 3.5 mm audio
        jack
        9. Dual Speakers
        10. More than 5000 mA battery
        11. Android ONE 8.1

        Good Luck Xiaomi.

Akorn Farmer, 04 Mar 2018I agree with most of your opinions. The people who buy this... moreThat's what I mean. Every specifications I meant are nothing but simple and the best. I didn't mention anything about the aluminium body, fingerprint scanner, dual camera setup, 2K display, etc. since these are just gimmicks according to me. A true poor professional will definitely look into how the device will add professional value and nothing else. The processor that I've mentioned will satisfy other needs of Gaming, etc. To be more specific even the 18:9 aspect ratio is unnecessary. A good FHD display with 16:9 aspect ratio is sufficient which would increase the battery life and would increase the performance efficiency. Moreover, since the Snapdragon 660 is optimised for 16:10 aspect ratio display it would be more appropriate and would add more performance efficiency, if the device adopts a 16:10 aspect ratio display.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2018Hello friends, I am after Xiaomi Mi Max 3 if it has the fol... moreI agree with most of your opinions. The people who buy this phone are not average, ordinary smartphone consumer. They have quite specific needs to use this phone: web browsing, video viewing, and gaming. So the main point of this phone should be: Big and good display screen, Big battery and fast charging, good AP, esp. good GPU for 3D game. They don't care about light weight, portability, camera picture quality, selfie quality, or other various bragging features. It should be practical product, free of gimmickry (nice to have but not essential features), and of reasonably low price. In a word, poor man's mini-tablet.

Give us decent camera with EIS. OIS is expensive but the EIS is not very expensive and if Xiaomi developer team are smart they can get it free from internet.

Dear Xiaomi developer team: Please add US T-mobile/AT&T 4G LTE bands to Max 3. Many in the US want to buy your beautiful and stylish phones. Will buy directly from China & ship to US, even without US warranty. Please have 4G LTE Band 2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17. Thank you!!!

Philippe, 01 Mar 2018why no nfc ?Because Xiaomi dont want to put NFC in Mi Max 3, face it dude. For me Image Stabilizer in camera and decent lens camera is more importance than NFC. Only few user utilized NFC than millions use camera to take pictures.

Add redmi 5 pro's camera's both front and back and oled display.

For me Mi Max 3 specs is consider acceptable because Xiaomi phone is cheaper compare to its rival. I hope Xiaomi would give us better camera with OIS for Mi Max 3.

I own original Mi Max, great phone, SD 650 is great midrange processor, battery lasts very long, screen is good, speaker nice and loud, phone is quite compact for its enormous screen size. Max 2 was disappointment..they put SD 625 in, much worse processor..lower graphic power, 8 cores dont help when each individual of those cores is slow - and programs usually can make use of one or 2 cores..so 2 strong A72 cores in SD650 really shine compared to SD625 slow A53 cores. Also in Max 2 they put bigger battery on phone that didnt need one - Max had amazing batery life already..in so making Max 2 even bigger than Max (which is too big already). So from Max 3 I really want one thing - SD660 or stronger proccesor..if they go SD635 or similar..not interested.

Hello friends, I am after Xiaomi Mi Max 3 if it has the following:

                                        1. Snapdragon 660
                                        2. Minimum 4GB of RAM

                                        4. Dedicated card slot
                                        5. 2160 x 1080 IPS LCD display (should not be LTPS)
                                        with Gorilla glass
                                        6. Simple Sony 12MP camera with flash (Should not be a dual camera)
                                        7. Sony 8MP front camera with flash8. 3.5 mm audio jack
                                        9. Dual Speakers
                                        10. More than 5000 mA battery
                                        11. Android One 8.1

I'm not interested in dual cameras just because the device can use the camera app of Pixel 2.

I'm not after 2K or 4K display just to keep the phone in budget. Moreover, 2K and 4K would consume battery.

I don't care about other specifications even if there is no Quick Charger. I believe in slow charging since it'll increase the life span of the battery.

If Xiaomi releases it as an Android One device it will beat records.
