Agreed. Hopefully they'll implement an amoled screen instead of lcd. And while I adore the large screen, fhd is wanting on a screen of that size. QHD would be awesome.

I just want to use my phone on sunlight, so just make a display with good brighteness - something like Note 8 is perfect, just try to be like Note when we talk about brightness, please!

After using the mi max 3 for a month now, I can't imagine going back to a smaller screen. So it seems the only way forward for me now is the mi max series. If the next generation would be what is entailed here, then it seems to be my next purchase.

If possible, just p... moreResolution is only a problem if it's oled/pentile. Since it's lcd it will be plenty sharp. That's why I prefer lcd. Sharp at lower resolution and no long term deterioration.
Low res saves battery and sustained quality means less pressure to upgrade.
