Ugly and impractical. The phone needs to have both top and bottom bezel.
Also, strange resolution (17:9)
And the screen isn't rectangular but slightly round at the corners.

Cool phone, although the concept was already done by Sharp Aquos. Credit to Xioami for bringing out a unique phone. Hope it will be launched soon outside China.

Bulli, 26 Oct 2016Hi guys, where to buy?:)The Official Mi Mall app is the cheapest method. Just browse the China Mainland web store on your phone and it will offer you the app to install. You'll need an address in China to receive it and Alipay from the Play Store signed up with your credit card. You then have to enroll to purchase and wait for the notification from the app.
There's also your local community forums which let you check the device before handing over cash and local grey market stores often found in Plazas.
Otherwise international sites, I don't recommend Aliexpress unless the seller has been selling for years with lots of feedback. ibuygou.com has the 256GB model for pre order at $699, which is only $110 premium.

This phone is only exclusive to China and will not be sold to the international market. Hugo Barra mentioned this during the announcement.
