It's not that big, look at the general dimension...
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (5.5"): 151 x 76 x 8.4 mm (5.94 x 2.99 x 0.33 in)
Xiaomi Mi Mix (6.4"): 158.8 x 81.9 x 7.9 mm (6.25 x 3.22 x 0.31 in)
It's 6.4" because the screen it's from edge to edge

PERFECT size. 6.4" display with smaller device dimensions as my 2013 HTC One Max. Just need to fit europe frequencies now!

Its dimensions are near to iPhone 7 plus, which has a 5.5" (as you wish) screen size.

Its not that big its almost the same, because they remove the camera, proximity sensor and the audio receiver so that the screen will be bigger not the phone itself, this phone has the highest screen to body ratio in all smart phone out there, can't wait for this phone!

It's the same size as my Lumia 640XL with 5.7" screen. Amazing! Haven't been so excited over a phone for years and years! Well done, Xiaomi!

I hope is IP67/IP68 rated same as with the new Mi Note 2 otherwise I'll will continue waiting for with my pre-order with the Iphone 7 Plus coming on the 5th Nov... Also I need it in Europe :) Xiaomi is up to you here to get a new customer or not. That is if you really care about what people write around here. We'll see soon...

This is the first 6,4`` phone I can think to buy because the 90%> sreen ratio (is wrong here in the specs), the final size is similar galaxy note 7 and Mi note 2. A 6.4`` with 5.7`` size.

This screen to bezel ratio is pretty mindblowing, I would be 100% sold on one of these if the device was a bit smaller overall, more along the lines of say a 5-5.5inch screen. Keen to see more from Xiaomi. More efficient use of space is always a good thing.

Xiaomi has told it has 91,3% of body-to-screen ratio and you put almost a 10% less. Who's wrong?

How I wish my sharp sh-04f have the same up to date specs. With a 5.4 - 5.5 screen this would have been perfect!

Surprised when launch Mi Note2, when some people says just copying S7design.
Now MiMix have a good quality design, forget about curve edge screen that not function, for what?
