Considering that it comes with Android 7 I'm not interested.
Xiaomi takes ages to update it's devices and I wouldn't want to be stuck with Android 7 until 2019.

How much RAM does this thing actually have? Here it says 8GB ram but on all the other sites it seems to have only the 6GB versions independent of the internal storage size.
Can anyone confirm if there is actually a real 8GB version?

I just bought a 256G version but rather to buy a 64G one. I do not take pics or videos much, not a heavy user, but apart 256G version, all sold out.
Anyway, it is not a bad phone, I am happy about this phone, I do not think there would be any cheaper ones that offer the same or similar specs.

Are you sure you want to go global with your phones and other products ?
Not quick enough for massive sale.
Plus limited direct outlets.
I'll be tired and bored of waiting to be available in my region - just like other brands, Nokia, Huawei, Motorola, OnePlus, so on.
Don't even see updates on 3rd sale, 4th sale, launching in other regions, etc.
I'm going with Samsung then. Direct outlets, service centres, better 2nd hand market value.

Snapdragon 8... moreFirstly, the quality of the camera is not decided by the number of pixels.With the best camera on mobile phones, galaxy s8 and iphone 8 has 12MP only.
Secondly, the camera on mi mix 2 is a imx386, which sure isn't very good.However, a imx362 would be too thick for this phone, and if imx362 and f/1.8 are used, it would make the phone a lot more expensive.

And also, dual lens systems provide few upgrades over a single one. The Pixel still does low light shots better than most, HDR shots better than most, and a superb shutter time. All with one camera.

But i have a qu... moreI'm SO happy to see that more and more Chinese phone manufacturers are opting to add the necessary LTE network bands for United States GSM networks. In years past I've seen so many phones with attractive specs and price points, but no support on networks here in the states, so I would end up spending more for a "top end" flagship that I didn't really want. Even though its a year old, I'm seriously considering the Xiaomi Mi Mix first gen for my next phone. It's still priced new at around $500 for the 256GB variant.

Best phone yet by xiaomi...kudos to them!!! But i have a question that why hasn't there been a review yet.. I am very mad with gsm guys for that.. Please post a full review on this handset as soon as possible...
