This phone is awesome. Lives up to the hype. Internet speeds are the fastest I've ever seen. Resource-heavy apps don't slow down at all. Games run extremely smoothly.
I highly recommend installing a custom launcher immediately after activating the phone. Stock MIUI is terrible. No app drawer! I use Nova Launcher, by far the most popular one. If you don't know what a launcher is, it is simply how your phone looks outside of the actual apps--icons, home screens, etc. Installing a new one is easy and safe, and you will be happy you did it.
The camera is okay, but not great. Contrary to what people are saying, you can't really use Google Camera with this phone. You can install the app via APK, but it does not work properly. The stock camera app is your only option. And the app is fine, there is no reason to replace it. It's the camera specs that are weak. It is just not a high-end camera.
Comes with a thin case, a headphone adapter, and a charger. No screen protector.

just re-watched the review on this phone (marques brownlee) and he said it was an oled display, but this website says its an ips lcd display? what up with that

I guess u need some knowledge in tech bruh...

Android 8.0 Oreo update today. If you have the device, check for updates in Settings. Potential customers: Xiaomi are keeping their phones up-to-date. Invest!

So you don't have to worry about the phone slipping out of your hands. Infact the phone without the protective case feels great in the hands. The ceramic body casing of the phone is scratch resistant.

Maybe buying this phone. I'm worried about the fragility of the phone. How is your experience with dropping the phone? (Normal stuff, slipping from the hands while walking around or falling from the table, nothing extreme.)

You don't need to order the xiaomi mi mix 2 from china. I wouldn't advise anyone buying the phone directly from china because the phone as the chinese rom installed. You can buy the phone with the global rom installed from a repetiable smartphone store online in hong kong. Checkout wondamobile.com they ship without customs fees worldwide. Read the reviews online. I hope I've help anyone who's interested in buying the phone.

Today's updated my Mi Mix2 to MiUi v9.5.4.0 based on Oreo update size was 1.5GB.
