According to gsma this phone has stb 85% vs 84.2% for the S9+. There is obviously huge bezels on the S9+ when put side by side.

I have the Mi Max 3 and it's an extremely good value at $250 with no problems so far. I prefer it over my Apple phone. This camera slide model is not my cup of tea but I'm pleased with Xiaomi products otherwise.

I don't like that slide mechanism. You need to slide the screen up or down, if you want to put it back.

I use Google Drive (2 accounts), Microsoft One Drive, Amazon drive and Dropbox. In total, I have about 100 GB data on the cloud which is shared by my laptop, smartphone, and tab. Regards.

I'm conflicted, because I want this now - which is easy - just get it through aliexpress or other.
However, then Xiaomi will only see another domestic China sale, and an international retailer will miss out on a sale of a Xiaomi device, a sale which would encourrage them to keep Xiaomi phones in their store.
This waiting game sucks, and Q1 next year could be end of March, five months after China release. Very tempted to secure this directly from China as my own Christmas gift, but I would as already mentioned much rather prefer to purchase it through a Norwegian reatailer. They need to see that Xiaomi devices are attrative to Norwegian customers.
We have three Xiaomi phones in my household, and two dash cams, all three sourced directly from China as I just couldn't wait. Only item I'm going to buy locally is their Roborock S50.

lol when will this mi mix 3 be available globally? it has been launched for over a month now. been waiting too much. are they going to release it globally when the hype is over or other new phones have caught our attention already? this supposedly a good christmas gift for self/others. oh well

i'm currently living in china and recently bought the Mi 8, after comparing with this one, there's not real difference apart from the phone design itself, I don't really understand the big price gap. paid 2600¥ for my Mi 8 and this one is sold for 3200¥.
anyway, the Mi 8 has a better quality/price ratio
