That's why curved screens are more suitable for more elastic hydrogel protection than rigid tempered glass. Nowadays, Chinese smartphones are strong against nails and even boiled, like the Honor X9C 5G. No matter how strong the smartphone screen is, it still ends up using additional protection like tempered glass or hydrogel. The screen display is indeed good, just for appearance. The toughness of the screen has not been tested in the field. That's why the Xiaomi Mix Alpha project was canceled. It's clear that the cost of a screen warranty is more expensive than a curved screen, let alone a flat screen, let alone an LTPO AMOLED screen/2K screen, you can't imagine how much it will cost to replace the screen if it's damaged.

Can you guys believe this came out in 2019???? This is proof that the smartphone industry has stopped innovating since 2019.
They should re-introduce this concept again with updated specs and make it available in limited quantities. Such a design cannot go out of fashion.
