But can it run Crysis at 4k and will it have reliable messaging? I have messaged my ex wife 231 times in the last 4 days on my xiaomi mi11 and i have not received a reply which leads me to believe it simply is not sending my messages and she is not receiving them.

Huawei mate XS was a phone w tablet capabilities (19.5/9 screen only 11mm), too bad outward displays died. Basically all foldables are tablets the days and their phone part is an afterthought.
So if you are on the market for an ultra high end tablet with great camera you buy foldables. If you like bigger tablets (+bad cameras relatively speaking) you buy Tab S or iPad.
Those are tablets makes no sense to see them as sth else.

Okay, this a flagship phone from Xiaomi, I respect that and I like it.
My phone is Mi 10 Ultra.
108 MP 0.7 μm no OIS > Why only 0.7 μm? I think, why do other cellphones use a small lens but high μm? And, no OIS?
8 MP 80mm telephoto/macro > Seriously? That macro camera? No OIS in telephoto? Com'on Xiaomi

27:9 aspect ratio for the cover display??? The phone will look like a remote control when folded. However, It is reasonably priced.
