Carina, 21 Feb 2015Samsung Galaxy S5 and Xiao Mi note, which one is better? Pl... moreif u are seeking for performance go xiao mi , bcoz , this type has 3 gigs of ram which is better than s5 that only has 2 gigs , the proc type is same snap 801 krait 400 clocks at 2.5 ghz , yet xiaomi has its own special Android User Interface called MIUI , it is more like ios than android i tot , BUT , IF u are seeking for minor perform ( a little i guess ) and a more appealing major looks , people will go like "wow , a s5 , not bad in the wallet) . It is up to you , Just for Information , im a xiaomi mi3 phone , this xiaomi thing just came up to my country (Indonesia) just about 4 months ago , and i ve been using this mi3 since 10 months ago , and most of my friends said , wtf why would u buy MiTo Phone ( a super cheap and low performance phone , China Products , search google for more info ) ?? then after August 2014 , they starting to know what is XiaoMi , and guess what , MY Mi3 has outdated for nearly 1 year and half since it's debut on 2013 , and yet no single lag issues . And For another information , im an ex user of s4 and im using s5 right now too . As i expected s5 still lose to Mi3 although mi3 spec still lack off about 0.2 ghz of quad core procs , yet the performance still much better than s5 , so im going to sell this s5 haha

But this phone lacks MHL to HDMI so you can not display your phone to your TV. Wifi Direct is unstable at best.

Hi,dear friends.Unfortunately very soon I have to say goodbye to you because some don't like my knowledge sharing and factwriting as I follow factwriting gsmArena!!!There's no doubt that China makes the best too with the most rivalless affordable price that has logical reasons!Unfortunately some too stingy merchants when they go to China,they take dried foods and yogurt paste not to spend any money!!!They buy fourth grade disposable devices in truckloads!!!So with the new cases a battery that cost them one tenth of a cent will be sold more than $50 !!!Sad to say these facts!!! By the way!Mi Note is one of the high above average devices made in China in design,features,performance,camera,wifes.2g,3g,and 4g,and other superior smartphone phablet qualities!To be fair and unbiased,this flagship can be considered a high end device with the possible affordable price!!!It automatically goes to my wishlist!Thanks all including gsmArena,s assistances!Justice Rights.

Why is that most smartphones are constraint to Samsung's envelope? We need someone to think outside the box... Make a panel that covers the entire front of the device and it'll sell like hot cakes

Hello guys,
I have the phone for several days already and I can tell you - it is an amazing masterpiece from Xiaomi. This is their best quality product - I have a Hongmi, Mi2s, Mi3 and MiPad, but that one is the very best.
The screen is first class, better than any display I've seen on a smartphone, processor and RAM are more than enough, front camera is the best ever and the back one is very capable too - even at night photos, very very thin and elegant design and the battery life is more that I expected. Sound quality is hi-end also. I can tell you this is the best phone ever. I've got the 16GB version which has 12.54GB free storage after first boot. Everything about the phone is just great.

The next Xiaomi phone that will launch in India (after the 64gb version of Mi4) is most likely the Redmi 2 since they have discontinued the redmi and need some other model to fill the less than 10k Rs segment (since they don't have any phn less than 9999 rs presently).
It is also likely they will launch the 1gb/8gb version of the redmi first instead of directly launching the 2gb/16gb version since they have cultivated a habit of fleecing Indian customers.
16gb/2gb version might launch at 8k with the 8gb/1gb version at the usual 6k mark.
