let me tell you this, a phone with glass back, needs to be at all times in that protective silicone case, at which point the glass back is covered and pointless to have it if you can't see it, you can drop it even from like 20cm on some glass table and it will shatter;
glass screen and back are not only there bcoz of being kinda resistant to scratching, but the glass back extremely improves the stability of the phone...at the same time adding to it's weight, older phones had a thick aluminum body to improve stability;
and no, viruses can not live anywhere without specific humidity and temperature, only then they can survive outside a host body...for a short period of time, in dry and rather cold environment a virus will die within seconds; in good environment it can survive minutes;

:) ditto to all glass screens and glass backs and all touch screens out there;
COVID19 is yet another virus from the same family of corona viruses just as H1N1, flu type A ,B and C, and many more that are yet to be discovered..... it's been around at least since 1930,
for you to note, SARS, the disease that can be caused by any kind of corona virus, is what kills ppl now, it was killing ppl before the COVID19 in thousands each year, despite those ppl having medicine and being vaccinated!
most likely in 1~2 years from now, when the tests with COVID19 vaccine are successful , ppl will realize that the amount of deaths will still remain in 10s of thousands, won't be that a thing? ;)

For normal people, it will last at least 2 years without dropping. Plastic backs are terrible. It can scretch easily and bacteria or viruses including COVID19 can live in that tiny scretchs and harm your health.
Another thing to remember is that phones with plastic back also have glass front which can be cracked when dropped. The purpose of plastic back is only to cut costs.

Better in all, except nigh... morein camera setting you can change picture quality to low, this will reduce file size by up to 6 times, altho resolution stays same at some ~6000x3000
but even with the 108MP mode and on RAW setting where one picture will have like up to 50MB file size, you can still take 2000 pics, and with google photos the quality and resolution will be downgraded....and there is no limit to amount of pictures, so i don't really get your point.

Switched P30 lite to Mi note 10
Better in all, except night mode, battery optimalization, size and weight and some apps like google dialer (like google apps but this dialer is ***). Its massive phone.
Hope they will add function to reduce 27mp to less to save some memory space.
Its nice quality build phone. Like it.

Note 10 beats P30 in photo quality and battery life (but that's because it's bulky and heavy)
But in everything else, P30 is way better, including raw performance which is in another league compared to Note 10
So if you care only about photo quality and battery, you should go for Note 10. But if you care about newer technologies, better performance, and slimmer, lighter design, you should go for P30.
