5 days?, 25 Jan 20205 days? Moderate user? Come on, normal user have about one ... moreyou need to read what i wrote one more time,
i said 'low-moderate usage' taht is not even 'normal', something like that means no games, no hour long phone calls or downloading 50GB files over a slow WiFi or 3G network;
the minimum time you get on this phone is about 8hrs , just the screen on time is somewhere near 11~12hrs or so, and that without even touching the phone;
Huawei can't beat the minimum time, bcoz it's quite similar , about 8hrs,
but a stand by time of like 17 days without any battery saver, screen on time is so long i can't even test it, i think it's way over 15hrs(i don't even know how long the mate 10 pro will last on normal use while on battery saver, bcoz i never got to use the battery saver, on that phone you literally don't have to use it)....Mi Note 10 can't make it to 10 days even with the battery saver.
Mi Note 10 battery life needs to be optimized, along with the charging, it still better to leave it plugged to the charger for 2~3 hours or longer, else the battery is not charged to 100%, the 100% that it shows after like 1h is fake, and drops quickly to 98% and soon after to 95% or so(on stand by);
even more so that for example, Huawei Mate 10 pro is ice cold while charging - which takes less than 2hrs (80~90minutes?), Mi Note 10 gets rather warm, not hot but warm...which is also the reason the battery drops it's power quite quickly at the beginning.

A.R., 25 Jan 2020You are talking about Mi 9 (k20) etc. Not 10i would assume that hits all xiaomi phones that have the 108MP camera,
but no, if i go settings 'about phone' then 'All specs':
'Device Model: Mi Note 10
Model: M1910F4G'
i can change device name, but i have no access to model name or device model name;
btw 'Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro' is exactly the same device as ' Xiaomi Mi Note 10' , the difference is the software

NLB, 20 Jan 2020you can test it from 1,5 meter. Open your camera app and le... moreprob is, the lens moves freely when the app is off, if your phone hits the ground when the camera app is off the lens will get some massive acceleration, it would be an unwanted reaction from the phone to turn off the app while the phone hits the ground;
the lens is clearly held by magnetic field, pretty much there are no gears there.
i suggest you google how a HDD reading head is being controlled, bcoz that seem to be exactly same thing here

Do Xiaomi phones work perfectly in USA ?
Are there any frequency issues with Xiaomi phones ?

to add to all the odd thing about this phone, i today noticed one disturbing one, the 108MP camera lens obviously moves closer and away from the sensor taking the pictures, and that distance is close to 2mm in total....but! could it be that after one of the recent updates, the lens now is no longer locked in place or the magnetic field holding it in place got so much reduced it now no longer works as it schould?
i tried to shake some water drops off the phone screen, when i heard a strange sound coming from the phone, that sound came from the lens :|
when i tuned on the camera app, similar noise, but not as strong would reaper,
the reason is simple, the lens was not in it's starting position or not in focus and the magnetic field that moves the lens make it jump to the set position;
makes me wonder, what happens if i drop the phone, while the lens is neither locked by the camera app nor in a favorable position? as long the camera app is not on, i can reproduce it at any time and it's loud enough for anyone to hear.
the best part about it is, that i noticed that recent updates also made the battery life better, at this point i know why the battery got drained faster before, bcoz the lens was locked all the time, now it isn't :))

'Only Android apps and Gmail' , it's an android phone, what else do you expect?
'An expensive cell phone for teenagers' no, in fact it's cheap, costs half of what flagships such as by samsung would cost, that is why teenagers and kids can afford it.
LG never made any good phones.

No own pop / imap email app, no email exchange app, poor contact app...
Only Android apps and Gmail. Far from Samsung and the dying LG.
An expensive cell phone for teenagers. Disappointingly, it's not for adults.

MladenJ, 17 Jan 2020Please tell the person who bought this device to tell me th... more1. idk what you expect, it has normal but curved screen, all curved screen lose some of the colors on those curved parts, if fact it makes the screen seem smaller, but there is no issue with the screen
2.Video @4K lags, after checking and comparing to my other phone, it turns out it's like Mi Note 10 takes 30pics @4K and just plays it, without b-frames it won't play as smooth, it's obvious it will lag if you move with the phone while recording, on the other side, if you pause it you will see everything as if it is a photo, not as blur as other phones do, but yea - no smooth playback, 1080p and 720 have no such problem
3. my other phone is huawei mate 10 pro, it's exactly same performance, the CPU is good for normal use, idk about gaming, most likely not
4. almost 1:1 with the size to mate 10 pro, but much thicker and heavier, and like i said the screen is almost similar size but since curved, the screen on mate 10 pro seems bigger
also the quality of the music coming from the speaker is noticeably worse as compared to mate 10 pro

4. the weight and the size of the device,
5. the rule is valid
