To say I'm disappointed in an understatement. No QHD display and such a low PPI, no dual camera, no OIS, no water resistance and more expensive than expected.
This is poorer version of the s7 edge, and you get what you pay for.
Not a flagship killer this year unfortunately.

And I truly believe that FULL HD is enough for flagship phones, even if the technology keeps evolving. But until it evolves in such a manner that the display won't make your battery go dead after 1-2 hours of using the screen, I'm not finding the need of having a QHD display like on my LG V10. You won't see a difference in quality between FHD and QHD, no way. And more, we could have bigger batteries because the screen has a lower resolution, not compromising the phone's thickness also.
From my perspective, I believe this Xiaomi Mi Note 2 could be the best phone till now. Let's see what the software looks like, how it behaves on a daily basis and why not, what this monster camera provides?

I'm talking about usability, stability, support. No point of talking about the specs, because these are only numbers, if they don't know how to implement the software within the whole package, they will have exactly what Samsung has with its Galaxies, in which no matter how many cores they add, the software is still useless and lagging after only 1 month of usage. The best thing these manufacturers can do is to implement the stock Android, and along with the high-end hardware, they will indeed have their place in the top, but at a lower price, which we all love, don't we?

386 ppi(FHD) is a deal breaker. For a 5.7 inch screen, it must have been QHD.
