no expandable memory slot is a deliberate attempt to copy apple marketing style of increasing revenue.
it is not due to technical consideration because even the cheap handphone model has a expandable slot.

Xiaomi sell only online.they don't have any retailer outlet...other manufacturers sell phone throuh a chain..i mean they sell through massive distributor,micro distributor,whole seller ,retailer...so,they need to give some percentage of profit to massive distributor,micro distributor,whole seller,retailer etc..it increases the cost upto 15-30%...but xiaomi sell directly by online..so,they can sell products at low price.if they use the chain method to sell then they will not be able to give u redme 1s at rs5999,mi4 at 19999

Dude,u said that u have experience of using phones from low end to high end..but i think u just used but u dont know how a phone works..."made in china" doesn't mean that the product will be of poor quality..and u shouldn't compare xiaomi phones with unbranded cloned chinese phones..xiaomi is the third largest mobile manufacturer in the world..the performance and durability of smartphones depend on cchipset,cpu,ram,gpu and other interal parts..xiaomi note pro using a Snapdragon 810 chipsetset and snapdragon is not Chinese. It is world's no.1 chipset..u will not find such high end chipset even samsung galaxy s5,xperia z3..they hv some 801 or 805...the gpu of xiaomi note pro is Adreno 430 which is also world's latest and no.1...so,all the parts using in this phone are not chinese..when big brand like samsung,sony make mobiles with these specifications and sell at high price then u said super mobile...and when brands like xiaomi make phones with the same hardwares and sell at low price then u said cheap mobile...what a knowledge!!! U should know that big brands more profits from their product...xiaomi doesn't hv retailer outlet..they sell only online...they donot use conventional advertising... So,they can sell mobiles at low price
