One year with hundreds of crap updates. they just messing on their miui launcher only, they no more developing anything. I just remove the 2nd partition to 1.2GB and switch to google now launcher, now the heating issue is gone. their system launcher is totally a crap.

Don't buy this crap. Read Xiaomi forum that every owners is sad about their products. I suggest you get Asus ZenPad S 8.0 Z580CA. is better than mipad 2. OTA are good.

Bought Mi Pad 1 year ago. Totally waste of money. MIUI lags likes hell. Great hardware but poor integration almost kill the device. They haven't unlocked kernel source yet. No custom ROM can be ported. They release MIUI 7 which is based on android 4.4.4 . Ridiculous. Not going to pay a single penny on Xiaomi.

do not go for this piece of shit.i have a mipad and xiaomi is so usless with its bug ridden MIUI. they wont allow custom rom as well. the product hangs when doing simple stuff like surfing on the net. it became a pain more than a good piece of product. only thing good about it is the screen. go buy some other product from a previous frustrated mipad user. also no sim card is foolish.

do not buy this piece of sh!t because xiaomi will never release it's source code! just like what they did to the first mi pad!
no source code means no good custom roms will be developed for the device, meaning you'll have to stick with their crappy miui sh!t which is a memory hog, bug ridden even after a thousand updates, and really slow!

Hey this device is going to be awesome. But if sim slot and fingerprint are also added then it will be fantastic. :)
