On the other, i have Lenovo tab3 Plus 8, that is a great fast device with Snapdragon. Very loud dual speakers, notification led light, amazing battery life and screen.
But, the new Xiaomi mi pad 4 with Snapdragon 660 and 4gb ram and 6000 battery, double tap wake screen, dual speakers.....must be a value for money at 200$!!!!

rajin, 05 Sep 2018Shouldn't 16:10 aspect ratio be called 8:5?Yes and no. It's pretty standard these days to name aspect ratios in a manner that compare to other aspect ratios. 16:9 compares well to 16:10 (8:5 if we're being particular), and also compares well to 21:9 (7:3 if we're being particular). Of course, if we wanna get really pedantic, the 'correct' way to label screen ratios is 'height=1', so 16:9 is 1.77:1, 16:10 is 1.6:1, and 21:9 is 2.33:1.

Can this device play 10bit video? I googled sd660 playback capabilities, some say can some say cannot which make me confused. I want to buy this tab for reading digital manga and watching high quality anime (all HQ anime nowadays are encoded in 10bit). Please someone who owned this tab confirm it.

Nice tablet for its price range. Got mine used 8" 64GB with LTE for 204 dollar.
Downside :
-camera , basically crap like those on symbian nokia's.
-no screen coating (got lots minor scratch for half day use without screen protector)
-no quick charging, time required for charging 6k battery is no joke
-dunno of mine is defect. Type C port kinda wobble
Thumbs up for its price for value, I played pubgm till chicken dinner without throttling like MI5 with 820, played mobile legend smoothly while my friend with s8 throttling like mad on 20-ish minute gameplay. It's not too big, and not too small. I can still browse with one hand, except typing on it

Because imo mi pad 4 is for light gaming in which you have to set a slightly lower setting (medium setting?) for games. Also assuming that all the game you mentioned are from google play store? Out from the box this tablet doesn't support google play store unless you follow some steps stated in the xiaomi forum. But if you're leaning towards android device, probably you should take a look on Xiaomi Pocophone F1.
