No Kernel source is released till now because of which ROM's are very buggy or rare. I think there is no lollipop rom for this at present. Also regarding 4G Sim slot, it probably wont happen in near future, because Xiaomi no longer cares about this product.

As I am planning to buy a tab, I find mi tab as very convincing one, as most of my work is browsing and reading 7.9 inch display will be good, since mi pad does not have 4G sim slot I am feeling reluctant to have the tab. I would like to wait for 4G sim slot in mi pad.

Buy a 3g modum wifi netsetter and a power bank.connect netsetter to power bank..and search wifi from phone...you will get connection..when you go any where u can cary netsetter and power bank
