Best tablet you will find.
I am a medical student and i love reading on this. When i use it for only reading it lasts around 3 days.
Battery timing is around 2 days with overall usage.
Camera is excellent for docs and video caliing. Ofcpurse not for photgraphy.
Sd860 is too good. I regularly play PUBG and Call of duty in highest graphics and its extremely smooth.
Netflix support is also there now.
Very good display very good viewing angles and good dark scenes.
Stylus is good but No stylus in the box.
Very snappy and fast performance.

Only advice i can give is do not BUY!!! purchased this direct from Xiaomi UK , i was watching netflix and the tablet crashed and went to sleep ,couldnt get it to reboot , it was sent to the repair centre , the next thing i know is they are asking me for a repair fee , as apprently , this device is not the original Global version according to them , so xiaomi uk sent me a non oficial device how are these guys allowed to trade, funny thing the serial number matches the serial number on the invoice that they themselves sent , so they cant get out of this but , xiaomi has been dragging their heels resising a repacement or a refund . ive spoken to trading standards to they , and will be taking them to court. Disgraceful and unethical

Been using the device for 2 days. Simply awesome. Although an lcd display, it's a high quality lcd panel and the blacks are very deep and contrast is excellent( expected as it is 10 bit). Solidly built. Battery could have been 10000 mah. Could have limited the display size to 10 inches or slightly lesser. Anyway, Xiaomi is always the first to bring revolutions in various smartphone price categories(remember Poco F1). Now they did it in the tablet category too. Good work Xiaomi👍.

I had 3 gadget.Note10+ ipad mini 6 & this mipad5 & I'm not a series gamer..most time watch movie & TV chanel app..For my daily use just enough this got a perfect spec..If u think for hard game / drawing like a pro go for Msi PC/ laptop

Xiaomi pad 6 is coming to replace this one. Looks like will be SD870 soc the biggest improvement and 120W charging speed

whoever is purchasing, just be sure that there are no yellowish patches at display corners (noticeable on white screen). if yes return it asap. found it to be a common error in this model

Until I knew about "Special features" in the settings menu of the tablet.
Follow this (from home screen): settings -> special features -> video tool box
And enable it to whatever app you use to stream videos.
Is an all new experience

Alan, 04 May 2022The March Security update has made this unusable for stream... moreReplacement received for the faulty Mi Pad 5 with the freezing streaming apps, and the new one has devoloped dead pixels within a day , i had it with this xiaomi pad terrible QA never ging back , i have never ever seen dead stuck pixels on a tablet ever, have been using tablets since 2012 ,including cheap ones for testing , nothing was this bad

Didnt like the tablet as a note taking devices. The bluetooth stylus keeps on failing me, i would prefer and old galaxy note tab than this when it comes to writing. Its pretty decent for the other parts, but the lack of sd card, 3.5mm jack, and sim card for this version is what i regret having this. Shouldve look on other tablets

I wish there was a way to disable HDR/Dolby Vision completely on this device
SDR videos look way better, in HDR dark scenes are absolutely crushed you can see nothing from it
I'm not sure how they got this certified for HDR/Dolby, I mean the display is good and it seems like a software issue, but they should have detected that in their testing
