I don't like the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro in particular since it's too much crippled for the price relative to the Lenovo's Pad Pro 2021. I enjoy having these features over the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro:
- MicroSD slot
- USB 3.0 type-C port (very fast transfers)
- Video out on the type-C
I plan on drawing on the tab, with Lenovo, I can buy a type C dock, and connect an external display, put a reference image on it and start drawing on the tab or I can also throw a movie on external monitor and turn-off the tab's screen. It's really convenient for my workflow and Lenovo's tab does more utility than what Xiaomi could for a lower pricepoint.
Accessories were also so much cheaper with Lenovo than Xiaomi.
With Lenovo, I can extend the runtime so much more than Xiaomi by using dark mode. So this is also a huge plus for it.

I change from Air 4 to mi pad 5 pro and I am jot disappointed in this tablet
Of course ipad air 4 will be better one .. but this tablet smoothness outsmart the air 4 coz of 120hz ....
display 8 out of 10
Sound 10 out of 10
Performance very very good smooth
I am overall satisfied with this ..
My only complaint is that android apps needed to b more compatible with tablets ... In case of software of course ipad will always be the king ...
But apart from that .. multimedia consumption is reallly really good especially if you enable video toolbox option and change the style to HDR .. Very good quility display ..
before I buy it I have my doubts but now it all gone ... i am really satisfied generallly speaking

Seems like Xiaomi is just trying to copy product that companies like Lenovo and Samsung released a lot earlier. Or maybe you are saying that you can get a Xiaomi pad on the cheap where you are and Lenovo and Samsung "might" drop prices to match?

this tablet is still not available, I can only find the pad 5 128gb version.
What is the world is wrong with xiaomi, a tablet with no expandable storage is only available with the minimum amount of internal memory and the pro version is truly non existent.
To me Samsung has much more better options and always readily available, the a8 2021, a7 2021 are around the corner and new tab s8 series tablets too.

More than 2 months since launch, 5G version remains practically impossible to get in China. Xiaomi Flagship stores never have it in stock. In the online store, they have theses flash sales once or twice a week. You register, wait for the countdown and the moment it hits 0, 5G version is immediately unavailable. Getting quite frustrated with Xiaomi, to be honest...

Always thought it was perculiar when a matepad pro 10.8 with 6gb ram had about 4.5gb in usage when at idle. Terrible refinement, and not to mention how woeful the experience is without Google.
