The specs read USB 3.2 Gen1. Does it support DisplayPort Alt Mode? In other words, can you output video with a USB-C cable? In my opinion, that was one of the Pad 6's killer features.

On the other hand, phones are supported for longer periods with patches and updates unlike tabs which are mostly supported for 2 to 3 years.
It's a business not a service at the end of the day.
