Xiaomi Pad 7 hands-on review

Camera
The Xiaomi Pad 7 has a single 13MP f2.2 camera on the back capable of 4K 30fps video. On the front is a 8MP camera with a particularly wide field of view.

The rear camera produced surprisingly usable results, with decent color accuracy and detail. It's not something we would recommend going out and shooting with but if you have nothing else lying around then it's not a bad camera to grab a quick still with.
As with photos, the 4K video quality is also surprisingly decent and quite usable.
Conclusion
The Xiaomi Pad 7 is a well-made and capable Android tablet. The software experience is well-sorted and using the device for productivity tasks is quite a pleasant experience. The device is also quite decent at media playback, although we would have liked to see an OLED display for a proper HDR experience.

Combined with the company's keyboard accessory, the Xiaomi Pad 7 is a potent productivity machine. If you're primarily looking for something to work on documents or office files or for school work then you might be better off picking up one of these over a cheap laptop.

The trick is to not update to hyper os. Miui 14 is the best for pad 6 as its the most optimised for battery and smoothness. I'm not supporting xiaomi or anything but we got to deal with what we have. P.S this is coming from a pad 6 user
