Xiaomi partners with YouTube to offer up to 3 months of Premium for free
Xiaomi India announced a partnership with YouTube, which is a first for the tech company. Xiaomi smartphones from the Mi and Redmi series can now get up to 3 months of YouTube Premium service for free.

YouTube Premium includes access to YouTube Music Premium, has no commercials before and during the videos, and also has the feature to download videos for offline watching, as well as watching in background PIP style.
Any Xiaomi owner who hasn’t used a YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red, or Google Play Music trial before is eligible, provided they have any of these devices:

- Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro
- Xiaomi Pad 5
The promotion will end on January 31, 2023, and people who purchased these devices need to activate their free YouTube Premium before February 28, 2023. Once the promo period expires, YouTube will automatically charge INR129 ($1.65/€1.55) per month.
