Hello guys,l am a newcomer here,however been a big fan of everything Xiaomi since 2013..and added Poco and Redmi.l live in Asia and always wanted a yellow Poco as l love the color.l bought my 4g/64gb example for about 90US.l have had it for just over a month now.Ok..l am not a gamer..not enough time for that.What k can tell you is that the battery on this phone is superb..a full charge holds me three days..l surf the internet,read a lot,watch videos/movies and do video calls etc.It has very good sound and l love the big screen.
Fast charging works like a dream.It takes about two hours from 0-100.
The processor might not be so snappy l suppose...however there are so many positive things on this phone that l am over the moon.My phone was a demo model.lnterestingly enough l had to use a few Samsung phones before...also demo models and they absolutely sucked.l reckon Xiaomi read the market well to put this phone out there.

Singx23, 22 Apr 2023Some questions.. What is the maximum 4g speed for this ph... moreI'm getting 50 to 70mbps on 2.4ghz and 350 to 500mbps on 5ghz. I don't know about 4g though, I never tried it. Make sure your router in wifi is capable of running 1000mbps/1gbps.

In this price range, the alternatives are a bunch of Android Go phones with 2+32GB and 2014 specs

What is the maximum 4g speed for this phone?
And what is the wifi speed at 2,4 and 5ghz...
I am referring to the link speed at wifi settings...

Everything seems good if you consider the price, so far. I have paid around 107 USD for 4/64 and added a micro SD 128 GB for 16 USD. I just wished it had an AMOLED screen with brighter under the sun and a better main camera. For the price it is good so far.

AnonD-1087859, 24 Mar 2023Feedback?Below average camera, especially in not optimal lighting, incredible battery life, big screen comes in handy especially for watching youtube or reading and browsing internet, able to play games l, no lag in daily usage, loud voice although quality of voice is not the best, secondary SIM sometimes losses coverage for e seconds then returns, screen is not AMOLED so do not expect AMOLED quality and color, I am satisfied with the ovral experience, no lag, good as secondary device or for those who do not have the needed money to purchase a pricer device. If you want a long life battery with big screen and don't mind the bad camera and LCD screen you have got a good option here, so far so good. If I had more money I would have bought one of the following: Poco X5 pro, Honor X9a, Samsung A34.

This thing is an absolute joke of a thing it's janky and a very unpleasant experience the software feels so bugged out I never know what it's going to do next, for example switched it on the other day and it said fastboot in middle of screen and just locked up nothing happened so had to reboot it, it's an incredibly unpredictable experience, only thing decent is the battery everything else sucks big time, do not buy this thing I have been using 4gb version.
I've factory reset the thing 3 or 4 times to see if it helps at all it doesn't I am missing notifications for things it doesn't alert me and if it does it's like hours after it's come through or not at all.

Just because it has a JLQ CPU that no one has heard of they immediately say it's crap, lets get one thing straight it's not a crap chipset at all, this phone is a budget phone and is expected to be treated as one, not a gaming unit or mid range performer but for the basics, and it is fine, in fact after updating it runs great!

you have to suffer, 07 Feb 2023just dont. this phone isnt designed for that. it'll r... moremy experience my redmi 9 gone from 9 or 10 to 12 and it doesnt work slower it also had updates which make android run smoother from miui than stock android, only thing when restarting the phone it takes a little time to wait before it was instant but after its turned on it doesnt lag

lol 8x a55 and 1 core gpu and 6000 mah this must last a long time on battery its kinda cool

Just dont. Its not worth your money. As a backup phone possible, great battery llife but goodness its so slow!! Apps hang and take forever to load and the firmware is buggy, DND and Reading mode cant work properly.
