    Ok!
Been a user of this phone since 2 months now and I waited for at least a couple of months before jumping into any kind of judgments.
I am based out of Dubai and I did buy it from an online seller and ordered a Neon Blue 8GB 256GB variant..and after it was delivered I happen to read a review somewhere about the 6GB and 8GB doesn't really matter much and the difference is not at all noticeable. So I went for the 6GB one and the online seller was kind enough to take the return. This time, 6GB Neon Blue and I still wasn't feeling too good about the color and it was too shiny and catching up finger prints on its glass surface. I decided to go for another replacement and the seller was kind enough again. Finally, the 6GB Grey variant and I was too excited and happy about the color and started using the phone upright..No shiny / flashy looks(which I love) and it wasn't catching fingerprints on the surface.

Performance : I was a user of OnePlus 3T, which is 4 years old approximately( I am not a gadget freak ) and so obviously this upgrade was a huge jump for me in all possible ways. Every other feature, performance speed and battery, all of it obviously seemed way better to me considering I was using an outdated phone earlier. The restart takes nothing more than 12 seconds. I am not a great camera user so I have nothing much to comment on it though the features look promising. I do a lot of gaming and this is where I am too impressed with the performance, no lags, NO heating issues whatsoever. My OnePlus 3T was a furnace and on the contrary the Poco doesn't show any signs of heat even after 3 hours of uninterrupted PUBG..and did I mention the performance was butter smooth???

    Battery :
The charging takes 77 minutes approximately from 0 - 100( I charged on mulitple occasions after the phone went dead and 77 minutes is the average ). The battery fell from 100 to 70 or 65 after 3 hours of play which is quite impressive and I have nothing to complain here. With gaming, browsing, social media, calls and WhatsApping my phone lasts easily for 28 to 30 hours including the phone on idle mode at nights( with WiFi/Data/Location/NFC etc put off )

Network connectivity is seamless and crazy fast on WiFi. I am not going too technical about the phone and I know that's not what most readers here are looking at to decide on buying a phone.

Cons : I sometimes envy my friend's OnePlus 7 Pro for his 90Htz refresh rate which lacks here but not certainly a deal breaker for me.
Wireless charging at 30W could have been a gem on the crown.
Waterproofing is something which I feel could have been added.

My requirements were a fast for gaming, no heating issues, battery lasting long enough and a processor which could run easily into the future(since I don't change phones often) phone. And POCO F2 Pro did turn out to be a winner and I am happy customer.

Sikandar khalol, 09 Aug 2020Poco is shit and it is heater x2 Pro is betterX2 Pro better? Not in your wildest wet dream fantasies. That ugly X2 Pro notch alone with that smaller screen and last year's processor with no 8K recording and no 5G and no IR blaster with much lower battery capacity, and questionable software update will be enough reason to dump it in favor of the Poco F2 Pro.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2020I forgot to add this to my last comment. I can buy them bot... moreOf course it’s the POCO, it’s
                          1. Newer
                          2. A POCO, likely to have great 3rd party ROM/supports as the market share is gonna be huge; just take a look at F1 and you get the idea.
                          3. SD865 vs 855+, a gen newer, better CPU/GPU power while been more efficient on battery.
                          4. WIFI6 & 5G ready (though 5G is good as non-existent feature for most markets, but at least there’s no harm to have it)
                          5. Notchless full screen display
                          6. Noticeably longer battery life and bigger battery, useful when your device getting old and the battery degraded
                          7. universal standard USB PD vs proprietary VOOC fast charge

Lastly, all my points above has no points if you’re a heavy user and need the 256GB storage (6GB RAM vs 8GB RAM isn’t that significant). POCO with 256GB is significantly pricier than the 128GB; if you’re comparing both with same storage size, it backs down to if you value the points I mentioned above over the price differences.

Between the realme x2 pro and this which is better? The Poco looks better in every single way except for the 60hz display. I'd take the x2 if it had a better battery. Can yall help me out?

Poco F2 Pro is a fast and smooth phone. Unfortunately in my case; mms messaging refused to work and the reseller refused to refund as it is a software/firmware issue. Somehow check if mms works as that can be a issue in some xiaomi hand sets....
