If you want decent telephoto, get another phone with 5x optical zoom and OIS. Anything less in a mobile phone is there to just attract users into buying the phone only to be disappointed with the telephoto range and telephoto image quality.

But if you are looking for better display/refresh rate, bigger ram/storage and you don't mind smaller battery, so so design (common accross any class of realme phone) and no 5G yet then you may go for Realme X2 Pro

I&... moreIt's the same for most flagships - 2 years of official updates from the manufacturer at least. Everything after that is purely a promise or speculation that's highly dependent on the phone's manufacturer and its popularity or sales figures.

For sure the Poco F2 Pro will outlast the Oneplus in terms of overall software support because there's just way more interest in it in terms of custom ROM development than Oneplus phones, being a hugely popular phone that's within the reach of more enthusiasts in the developer community.

For how long will this poco f2 pro get software updates? I'm planning to buy poco f2 pro 256gb variant or oneplus 8 128gb variant. Oneplus guarantees atleast 3 years of software updates and oxygen os is better tham MIUI but I really like the poco f2 pro

The Poco and ALL other China made phones: Xiaomi, Oneplus, Oppo, Vivo, Realme and also ALL Pixel phones can only view offline downloaded HD movies on their own phone screen but can't mirror them. Samsung on the other hand (and LG) allow not only in-phone screen viewing of protected content (DRM encoded), but also wireless mirroring of offline downloads to TV screens.

I saw a small banner ad for an LG washing machine in Xiaomi's file manager app. It seems the ads do not always come out every time you access Xiaomi's file manager. The theme store also has ads and I suppose, every Xiaomi app (Xiaomi media player, Xiaomi app store, etc.) I don't use any of those so that's probably the reason the only ads I see are from Chrome websites and some regular Google Play store apps (YouTube, dictionary, news and weather apps).

Heyo, 28 Jul 2020Guys, do you think I should get the 6GB/128GB variant or 8G... moreYou should get the 256GB version especially since the phone doesn't have micro sd expansion. If currently (or in the future) you record videos in 4K/60fps and 8K 30fps which consume a lot of storage space, all the more reason to go with the 256GB. I personally have used up 116GB of my phone's internal storage this early - personal media files and offline Wikipedia and apps only. No offline movie downloads yet and no 4K or 8K recordings yet. If only this phone had micro sd expansion, you can easily have additional 512GB storage for just around $75.

JacobG18, 30 Jul 2020Hi, please help, I really can't decide between this ph... moreThe biggest reason I wouldn't recommend the Mi Note 10 is because it has a 108megapixel camera and 4K video recording but has only 128GB internal storage option with no micro sd expansion. It's going to create storage problems for you.

If you want a much better phone for around the same price and with the same processor as the Mi Note 10, I suggest you get the Samsung A71. It's got the same snapdragon 730G processor as the Mi Note 10, a great high megapixel main camera (though not 108megapixels), dual SIM with dedicated micro sd expansion slot and Widevine L1 certification with capability to mirror wirelessly offline Netflix downloads to TV (not like ALL Xiaomi phones).

Its battery also lasts long (4500mah), and its screen is bigger (6.7"), though not curved. I don't like curved screens because they're problematic in terms of fragility (breaks/cracks easily at the weakest curved portion), and the unwanted touches and reflections at the curved sides are annoying.

Of course it still depends on what you want and what you can afford. Between the Mi Note 10 and the Poco F2 Pro, get the Poco F2 Pro if you can afford it. If not, get the Samsung A71. It's more feature packed but is cheaper than the Mi Note 10 (although it has a plastic build).

Hi, please help, I really can't decide between this phone and the Mi Note 10...
I know the POCO is an easy pick for most of us with the latest chipset (tho I think it will be an overkill for my usage), but I really liked the design of this Mi Note 10 (curved AMOLED) and the cameras (obviously), and in my country, both phone only separated by around $ 55 out of store, but the 2nd hand Mi Note 10 has more value (around $ 380 (might get lower by the end of this year), which I also consider this opt)..

I aim to have the phone for about 2-3 years, I'm not a heavy gamer, only sometimes and mostly I was just playing PSP's emulator (LOL) but I want to have a snappy enough performance on opening and switching between apps.. I will use it for mostly taking photos and watching movies (online but mostly offline), and browsing SNS, last but not least I would very much like to have an all day battery phone.. my current redmi note 7 last for average 6 hrs of SoT, so I expect something much better like 8-9 hrs or probably 10 in average use..

                                Appreciate all the answers.. thanks!
