Good to see Poco still alive. But why that pop-up mechanism camera though.
And we can see the Stock ROM https://www.technolaty.com/download-stock-rom-for-poco-f2-pro/ for Europe already out. Does that mean the China version will come later?

Cameras won't be exceptional, MIUI will be filled with bloatware, this phone does compensate for it with good hardware specs at a budget friendly bill, especially the AMOLED addition is a positive change, though it's saddening to see they didn't provide external SD slot, Poco used to be a developer friendly phone where you could try a plethora of ROMs while backing all your important information on the SD.

About Xiaomi updates please remember that this isn't a top end 'Mi series' device,it's a budget 'Redmi series' device.

geo, 14 May 2020it's not about the impact overall. it's more of a marketin... morePeople don't mind waiting a half a second longer for a file to be relieved from the second card and loaded into the system. The user expects that internal storage provides quicker access than external storage. That's not the point here. Unfortunately, for most people, 64gb storage when probably a good 7-8gb is used on system storage and another 10gb typically on apps, doesn't leave enough storage to last a year or more, which a user will hope to have the phone, at a minimum. People say that you can use cloud storage but that's dependent on your internet speed and can take longer to access than external sd card storage. The problem, then, is that the disparity in pricing between 64gb and 128 or 256gb is prohibitive for a lot of people. They're essentially pushing, what initially appears to be a good deal, out of the reach of the average user. It's the same reason for integrated batteries. Planned obsolescence. For convenience, most people will save files to internal storage so in a year or so you'll just get the next version of the same phone. It's not being done for the user's benefit or for performance gains. It's been done for financial gain. Many manufacturers like Xiaomi have their own cloud services that they push the user towards. Samsung does it and apple does it too. Xiaomi is moving away from the great value it used to offer. In 2018, they launched the pocophone f1 with an sd card slot and a flagship Snapdragon 845 could and you could buy it for 250-300 euros. I bought two of them. Now they're launching a redmi k30 5G with no sd card support and 64gb for a cheapest price of 280 euros. I have looked extensively. For what? 5G is at this stage, a pretty redundant technology. I don't see what they are trying to do, apart from joining the ranks of Samsung et al, in financially exploiting their customers.

Poco f1 Indian variant has low battery capacity. This time launch with more powerful battery in India than the global variants.... Otherwise you will be flop with upcoming realme's flagship device with fastest charging n longest battery life inducted in it...

Rai, 14 May 2020Look at samsung, look at sony, look at huawei, did the sd c... moreit's not about the impact overall.
it's more of a marketing thing.
Let's say you have all your apps on an SD card with low write/read speeds and try to access them from there. It would probably load things a bit slower.
Now let's say u have the same apps but on the internal storage of the device which has considerably more transfer speed than the SD card, thus, it will load things faster.
The general user will only notice the difference when loading the app but will not know that the apps are loading slower due to the SD card slow transfer rate.
So what do you, phone maker do in this case? Remove the SD card so no one can complain about slow loading apps.
*insert logik meme*

If it gets good reviews specally for camera department and here I mean for LOW LIGHT performance, it's a clear winner and to implement best processor, 5G connectivity, AMOLED screen, great RAM package,...come on people it just can not be 350.00€. Price is realistic, fair and if XIAOMI supports products with regular OS updates, it's a CLEAR WINNER. So far I have Oneplus 6, but this one it's the last one and I'll pass either to Apple 11 or this great piece! So PLEASE GSM arena do your great job and review this phone ASAP.
