After reading your post I went into Settings and checked my battery. It showed that it was last charged 28h 12m ago and is now 72% charged, with 43h 23m remaining. I know that is extreme and not many users can expect that but it shows that if you are using it constantly for games etc. then it will deplete a lot faster.

Battery-wise I have had no issues with my F3.
If I charge it to 100% before bed, in the morning it is still at 97% - 98% - and that is with 2 SIM cards installed as well.
As I have said previously, if you have experiencing battery drain, it is probably due to a bug in one of the apps you are using.
Most likely one of the apps that not everyone uses, but you do (i.e. not Whatsapp or Chrome).
If this is the case, then you will see a major improvement once the vendor for your battery-guzzling application releases an update to address it at some point (hopefully).

I am stuck between Mi 10T and Poco F3. I want a phone with a good camera and better built (aluminum frame and 5000 mah), which is the Mi 10t. But I also don't wanna miss the chance to experience an amoled display because I want to try something new since I am using LCD displays on my previous phones and I didn't have tried having amoled ever since. But Poco F3 have a lot of issues such as battery drain and overheating, which causes framedrops. However, Mi 10t also has a lot of issues such as random disconnection of Wi-fi and 5G mobile data and unable to receive internet connection. Is it really worth to take the risk to buy Poco F3 just to experience amoled display, considering its issues? Does Amoled and IPS LCD has a huge difference between them in terms of display? Does anyone of you here guys came from IPS LCD and bought the POCO F3? How's your experience? Does AMOLED display really worth to sacrifice better camera, aluminum frame, and 5000 mah?

I visit this forum daily and cannot understand all the negative views being expressed.
Users moan about the MIUI interface. Well, if you don't like it then change it. I personally like it but if you don't then change it for something else, there are plenty of other launchers available to try.
When I first got my F3 I watched a video on YouTube that explained how to remove bloatware and stop ads appearing. It only took 10 minutes to do and now my phone is bloatware free and I never see ads.
The camera isn't the best but if you want to improve matters then a quick search on Google will give you links to Gcam mods which you can download. Let's face it, 99 percent of phone users aren't bothered about how many lens it has. They just want to take the phone out of their pocket, take a quick snap, and put it away. They are not bothered about whether it has telephoto lens, macro, depth sensors etc.
I charge my F3 twice a week whether it needs it or not, but then I don't have it in my hand all day reading social media or playing games on it. People play games for hours at a time and then moan because the battery doesn't last a day.
I admit that the proximity sensor is annoying, but I have already explained in a previous post how to temporally fix it. It doesn't happen on every call so it doesn't seem to be a hardware problem and hopefully a fix will appear.
I paid £280 for my F3 two weeks ago on an Amazon deal and I defy anyone to find another phone with these specs for less than £300. I purchased mine to replace a Oneplus 8T that was plagued with dropped calls and which Oneplus has never addressed but the F3 has performed faultlessly from Day One.

I've even tried to force it to appear by switching to dark mode and lowering the brightness to almost zero but the screen stays normal.

What, 24 Jun 2021Welcome to the club. My mi 10t pro has this issue as well. ... moreOr maybe it's still bad luck. I've been using redmi note 4x since 2017, together with F2 pro, and I've had no such problem. F2 pro's screen is magnificent

If the screen lights up during a call then remove the phone from your ear and twist it left and right a couple of times and then the proximity sensor seems to work and the screen goes dark again.

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2021Is it really borderline unusable cuz I'm thinking abou... moreDepends on the way you have it. Mine is quite bad (is almost impossible to not see it).
Because I have it on the upper part of the display (about 30%), then the middle part of the display is normal (about 50%) and the last part of the display has the green tint again (about 20%).
So, when I scroll on low brightness levels and on black background (which is majority of times because I use dark mode to save battery), it's really annoying. I see the upper information greenish, then the middle information ok.
There is somehow a fix to this. You could use light mode and light themes from Xiaomi. But then the battery depletes quite fast from my personal experience. Or not use the phone during the evening/night, lol.
If you want my honest advice, don't buy this phone. Unless you absolutely want a phone just for gaming at cheap price (but even here be careful, my phone reaches 43 degrease in gaming or video calls; maybe even more, but I stopped gaming after that).

As to green tint issues. It's complicated and I probably know the reason. Devil is in good intentions and here is to save some consumer eyes. I read lot about screen PWM and have sensitive eyes to AMOLED flickering. From most of the phones with AMOLED screen (Samsungs) my eyes hurt after couple minutes. This problem is calling sensitivity to PWM screen flickering and about 10% of people having this fatigue (mostly not recognized). Using my F3 my eyes are OK. Why? Just because with reviews from YouTube reviews in Russia they also measure screen flickering caused by PWM. This F3 screen have very low flickering and flicker on much higher frequency (good for eyes) then Samsung's. The only reason for low screen flickering is that some DC Dimming is already presented in the factory SW, not mentioned by Xiaomi. The problem what DC Dimming is producing on your screen is the color shifting - viola this is our Green tint on some lightning levels. To check my theory please see the Notebookcheck.net review of F3. Mentioning there have to be some form of DC Dimming present. So the solution will probably be just add DC Dimming setting - off button.
