Ok, day 3 with Poco F3:
The supplied USB C headphone dongle is pretty much useless as it is very underpowered compared to the bult-in headphone jack on my old Poco F1.
If you plan on using this phone for music, all you have is Bluetooth 5.1.
I mean, not even 5.2.apparently, which while not very widespread yet, would at least give us hope for the future.
I regret not opting for the x3 Pro personally.
Too many compromises on a phone that costs $100 more than the x3 Pro.
It should be maybe $25 more expensive based upon actual added value to the user, and even then it is very subjective on what is important to you.
If all you care about is a slightly better display and a bit more power in the processor, then this is the phone for you maybe. Also maybe from a physical design perspective if that matters to you, and also it is lighter than the x3 Pro.
For everyone else I would skip it. If you really want to spend that much money more or less, just get the Mi 10 T Pro (maybe 5G variant if that's important to you).
Overall I'm a bit dissapointed with my F3, but that's my personal opinion.

Ivanlekica, 25 May 2021What about MIUI 12.5. When it comes to F3?Lol. I am waiting it since 1 month already.
The Redmi K40 (which is the chinese version of the Poco F3) has already receive it.
Not to mention, other cheaper phones (for example Redmi Note 8 2021) who will receive it out of the box, just because they are 2 months newer than the Poco F3.
Totally unfair. In this way they are forcing people (indirectly), to always change their phones. Especially if you have small problems (like I have with my Poco F3 display) and wait for a software update to hopefully fix those problems.

E. PVPG, 25 May 2021I don't know whether to get 6gb ram or 8gb ram. I´m on... moreI have the 6GB/128GB ram/rom variant. I play genshin impact and do all those other things that you mentioned. 6gb is plenty. 8GB is overkill really. There's no real world need for it. It looks great but totally unnecessary in my opinion. Certainly for most people. Being honest 4GB is more than enough for the majority of people. It's a fantastic phone. Only thing that slightly disappointed me is battery life. It's not bad. It's just not great. Despite having a bigger battery, I felt my pocophone F1 had better battery. This really surprised me. The pocophone F1 had a 4000mah battery and this has a 4520mah battery. That's a significant difference but I feel that the poco F1 was a little better. However it is early days with this phone and I doubt it is fully optimised yet and there will be updates that will help further.

Got mine yesterday.
Pretty good so far overall, but the cameras are indeed not great, and I upgraded from an F1, which had only 12 MP, and I think it had better quality at night.
Haven't done much daylight photography yet.
Also it isn't clear why my F1 had 4K video in 2018 and this one with more CPU and megapixels can only do 1080P video.
Honestly, if the battery hadn't been fading on my F1 I probably wouldn't have bothered.
Thinking about it, the X3 Pro would probably have been the better choice for me, as the AMOLED isn't that much of a dramatic difference, and I miss the headphone jack, and a bit more battery capacity is always welcome, and I could have bought a DAC or a nice pair of earbuds with the change, but no biggee.

I don't know whether to get 6gb ram or 8gb ram. I´m only interested in that, not in the storage of 128gb or 256gb.
The use I give it is a normal use (twitter, instagram, whatsapp, gmail, search the internet, read pdfs or so) and play but not very demanding games, such as clash royale or so
My doubts are for two things:
1. Is it worth paying for? That is, is it necessary to have 8gb of ram?
2. Does any of the two ram selection options affect the battery? (for me the battery and autonomy are very important)
Thank you!

Tomjanovich, 24 May 2021because it does not use snapdragon chipThe only bad thing about the RealMe GT Neo is that it uses china from, but other than that it can actually surpass the Poco F3/Redmi K40.
