Anyone who reads mandarin can you find out in xiaomi forums if K40 overheat screen dimming issue was fixed? Someone said someone told him it was. If it's fixable then poco is perfect without any issues imo.

$I don't think so. Vivo was the one to introduce indisplay fingerprint sensor in Vivo s1. And it was a cheaper phone than this.

These days, phones are more about software (and AI) than hardware. Xiaomi/Poco uses MiUI which is a below average Android skin. Most Chinese phones' Android skins are bad, with the exception of Oxygen OS in Oneplus phones.
It's cheaper... but you get what you paid for. You have to decide if the annoyances are worth the discounted price.
Samsung phones OneUI is the gold standard of Android skins now, although I personally don't like Exynos and the preinstalled bloatware e.g. Microsoft apps. Google should hire some UX designers from Samsung's OneUI team.

This is ridiculous. Poco has blocked the early sale of this phone being shipped to the US on Aliexpress. The only way to get it is by paying waaaaay over msrp. Too bad Poco you lose my money. Going with the Iqoo neo 5 instead now.
