A series is absolutely destroyed... moreThe A10s is bassically the cheapest phone Samsung made at that time....and its almost 2 years old The new A12 is still crap but runs a lot better than the a10s, you really can't expect performance here. The A50/A51/A52 are the most sold Android phone in western world.
Hell the A50 and the A51 were the Most sold phone of 2019 and 2020 in EU. So thats basically Sammys baseline if you want something good.
Xiamois phone are good hardware wise, but their software has to improve ten fold to be acceptable and beat Samsung in the western world. I tried the Xiaomi phones since I sell phones for work, and the bad translations coupled with adverts and occasional glitches kinda look bad. The only Xiaomi phone software I liked were the redmi A series with Android one, since the software was not reskined by Xiaomi.

Also, I already have a digital camera, so I need my phone to just have an ok camera for the occasional photo when I really need to.

So it's then down to whether you want that extra grunt to able to play the most taxing gaming titles on the highest graphics settings for prolonged periods or have a camera that compensates for shaky hands. I have steady hands. Whenever you take pictures they're fine so I would much rather have the extra power. You can also use a gymbal to compensate for less than steady hands and lack of OIS buy you can't make a processor more powerful.

The question is, why does the screen throttle/decrease in brightness drastically when the device goes above maybe 45* Celsius? Check Frankie tech or other YouTube reviews/gaming reviews.

They're aweful. I have a10s , it doesn't have compass sensor and it takes me 2 seconds each time i want to turn phone on ( not booting it on , clicking power button)

We can expect xiaomi to beat samsung but not now . 2 or 3 years later , that expectation comes true . Samsung is highering the price and lowering the qulity . Look at galaxy s6 S7 note 4 note 5 . In that time xiaomi wasn't able to beat even galaxy j series . They discontinued series J C E . BUT what xiaomi is doing is that they are removing extra usable fun features , what samsung doesn't . Im not a hater troller or that sort of thing but all companies make mistakes .
