Is the Poco F3 supported by mobile carriers in Canada?

1kool guy, 14 Jun 2022Hmmm... Liquid cooling 2.0.... Well, whether Vapor chamber ... more Um, excuse you? POCO performed a stress test (designed to who would've guessed- stress the SoC), and the F4 kept the chip around 35° and within a 5% threshold of the peak performance with no signs of dropping or slowing down.
Are 15 minutes of benchmarking indicative of throttling in prolonged gaming sessions? No.
Are 15 minutes of pushing a CPU to its literal limit indicative of it? Maybe, I mean, it's done just that for the Oneplus 10Pro showcased in the very video.
I sound like a broken record at this point, but, do your research, people!
As for the last two sentences, who hurt you? Are you ok?

C0OLK1D, 14 Jun 2022I'm currently planning in buying an f4 but a question ... more No.
An 870 doesn't generate much heat in the 1st place, and the F4 has LiquidCool 2.0 (after a quarter of an hour of stress testing performed by POCO it got to 35°, with a measly 5% drop in performance with no signs of slowing down)
      Would you need one? No.
Would I recommend buying it because you want one or 'just in case' anyway? No.

VNuff, 13 Jun 2022 Heating phones suck to hold, and they more often than not ... moreHmmm... Liquid cooling 2.0.... Well, whether Vapor chamber cooling or Liquid cooling 2.0 technology or whatever technology is utilized; nothing can absorb or digest the heat that is generated due to heavy gaming for long sessions... It's a gimmick... But you look like a child to be fooled by trash Utopian ideas... Stop dreaming and come out of your dreamland and take a chill pill in the real trash-world...

I love the phone, but American mobile carriers have stopped support for Xiaomi phones. I miss my Poco F3 already. Samsung just can't compete.

The android and miui versions are updated. MIUI 13.0.6 and android 12

1Kool guy, 13 Jun 2022No offense to none... But like I said that Redmi or Poco b... more Heating phones suck to hold, and they more often than not have damaged batteries, but, the POCO F4 5G has an 870 with Liquidcool 2.0, an already power-efficient chip with excellent cooling, so good in fact, that while testing, it outperformed the Oneplus10 Pro in terms of stability.
I, too, care for Alexis, that's why I made my reply to you spreading absolute trash.

VNuff, 13 Jun 2022 This is so wrong; POCO F4 GT is not a Redmi K40S, it'... moreNo offense to none...
But like I said that Redmi or Poco both are subsidiaries of Xiaomi... and that I personally did not use Poco F4 5G or Poco F4 GT as both are re-branded version of either Redmi K40s or K50 Gaming Edition whatever you name it... Honestly, why would I maintain rapport with sons if I have good relations with their father? Xiaomi is father, while Poco and Redmi are both sons, re-branded product...
Poco is a cheap product with high specs but still is a re-brand... and like I said that I did some research on 8Gen1, which is fastest SOC with lots of heat issues... and heat my friend, is the 1st enemy for any battery life... As the time passes, the life span of any battery would become less... means degradation!
Anyway, I am concerned for "Alexislol2001" on this forum specifically in order to let him decide to go for the right choice. Hence, if he is good to go for his right choice, I would be happy for him.

1kool guy, 12 Jun 2022Thanks for appreciation... I think you really wanna go for... more This is so wrong; POCO F4 GT is not a Redmi K40S, it's a K50 lineup phone rebranded, NOT a K40S.
                            The POCO F4 non-GT is however a Redmi K40S.
1kool guy, I suggest doing some research (literally a google search or browse at GSMArena away) and you stop spreading misinformation (which is unkool).

I think you really wanna go for Poco... Well, Poco F4 GT is the rebranded version of Redmi K40S, which is having 8Gen1 a 4nm SOC that is a latest one but it still needs optimisation because of heat along with some inconsistencies... Remember that either Redmi or Poco both are subsidiaries of Xiaomi... Means any major or small updates regarding apps or OS, will come for Xiaomi 1st and then for it's other subsidiaries... As for my experience is concerned, I personally have not yet used it but did some research on 8Gen1, which is fastest SOC with lots of heat issues... And heat my friend, is the 1st enemy for any battery life

I was saying either opt for Mi10T since it's available a bit in cheap price or Xiaomi 11T very affordable nowadays & 3 years updates in future (means bugs will be sorted out by the company)... I still wish Xiaomi should have used sd870 in 11T... The magic of sd870 is very strong compare to sd888... Best of luck

Alexislol2001, 10 Jun 2022Hello, I've a question, is truth that the F3 is a frau... moreIt's the rebranded version of Redmi K40 for international market... It means "copy paste". No new nothing without research and development; just a work on Poco launcher instead miui... Problems regarding dead motherboard or restart etc are obvious... Many benchmarks still recognize it as Redmi K40 & any update related to board when done, after restarting the handset, I think board gets confused about it's recognition; whether it is Redmi K40 or Poco F3 (hope you know it now why such problems regarding motherboard occur?) I had a personal inclination towards Poco F3 & trust I did everything to consider it (for this purpose I brought both Poco F3 & Xiaomi 11T & started using for 15 days but trust me Poco F3 was very inconsistent regarding network signals, battery (very patchy), display was so bright that even black was having a whitish blend, speakers were a bit low, earpiece voice was also quite low and so many other things). But I have to admit that sd870 is a very strong and well optimised SOC (but not in Poco F3). I finally moved towards 11T since it's a flagship one, though I wish Xiaomi could have used sd870 in it... Bro, I would suggest to let go Poco F3 since it's old to go with the future updates & opt for either Mi10T (cheap) or 11T (budget), you won't regret both

Alexislol2001, 10 Jun 2022Hello, I've a question, is truth that the F3 is a frau... moreI'm not sure what you define as "fraud". I've beenusing the F3 for about 8 months now and I don't have any problem with the device.

If you're really concerned about the failure rate, any products reviewed here will have some kind of failure, it's just happened sometimes in manufacturing. No, not even the premium phone can escape the fact that there will be some defects during manufacturing process. I can't really tell how many F3 devices are broken compared to other phones nor I can talk about your Xiaomi's customer care support on your region but in my place, they're giving up to 15 months warranty to F3. Luckily, I never have to go to Xiaomi's customer service center because I never had such issues with my Xiaomi devices (I've bought 7 Xiaomis phone in the past).
