It's a beta update, I recommend that you don't install it. Check the early update toggle off. They are working on a fix which will be in stable update. I have read it on Poco Community app by an insider from Poco.

I bought this phone and was really exited about it. After using it for about 3 months now I would tell people not to buy it. The battery life is insanely low. After not even half a day of use it'll be completely empty. Even though my phone is brand new it's already struggling with certain apps like Snapchat for example. It quite often freezes my video's. There are adds on the phone but not that many that I would be bothered by it. And while unlocking it sometimes messes up the phone layout and you have to lock and unlock it again for it to get back to normal. It has great features but the execution of it all is very mediocre.

Hello All,
I am using this phone for almost a week and so far everything look to work as normal. No Issues with proximity sensor after last update 12.5.2. installed Gcam 8.1 and works very well so far (very good photos for causal users). Performance is very good with no Lags. The only downside I see so far is the MIUI software which has few bugs (not major at all). Installed Nova launcher prime to enhance the experience.
Screen quality is superb!!
If you want a phone for daily use as well as gaming, I would recommend this phone. But you use phone almost for photography, so better to go to more expensive flagship options.

Have u faced any issues regarding reboot.. i am worried, i wanted to buy this phone but many reviews say this reboot problem is happening just in poco f3 since its launch.. pls reply and clear my concerns.. it will be a big helpl thanks.

Idk how it exactly work in the poco (using gyroscope sensor/ camera/ spear Ultrasonic things) But my point is that there is an actual hardware component which i had in my previous non xiaomi phone which is lacking here! Btw that same component is still used in the iphone 12 pro max/samsung s21 ultra/huawei p50. Hope that explained my point :)

Please fix it, I want to buy it. But I won't until it is better than before or the price will be lower. Because, it's not worth it for that price and has a few problems like lagging and ghost. From time to time i'll keep reading the reviews if it get's better then I'll buy it. Maybe from the users please give some reviews of the phone

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2021Guys, i just wanted to point out that this phone has NO PRO... moreThere is a proximity sensor, just not the regular iTOF (Infrared Time-of-flight) you find in those old non-bezel-less phone. On the Poco F3, it's actually similar to an ultrasonic sensor. The top speakers plays a tone and waits for the top microphone to pick up the return/bounce signal then estimates the distance based on the time delay or volume. The problem with it is that the speaker aren't design for this. So instead of being unidirectional, it's multi-directional

Explain how that happens without a proximity sensor.

Is 12.5.3 RKHEUXM update worth it? Updater shows that this is 2.9GB . Just unboxed and got 12.0.4 RKHEUXM

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2021You cover the proximity sensorGuys, i just wanted to point out that this phone has NO PROXIMITY SENSOR!!! it's all software! And y even though i like my poco f3 battery life/screen/performance it drives me nuts when am hearing voice messages on WhatsApp/messenger or am on phone calls.
Camera wise it's okish (i don't take a lot of photos)
After tweaking the ads settings, i receive no to little qmount of ads. So no bother there!
If you want a nearly perfect software experience or a good camera don't get it!!!!
If you care more about longevity and performance, it's a good pick !
