Mannyval, 05 Mar 2023Hi guys, I been usisng my Poco F4 GT for over a week and I ... moreLower the refresh rate to 60hz, use automatic brightness or you can use manual but don't go all the way up, turn off location services and lastly use dark mode.
Try it, if it's work then your welcome and if that doesn't work I am really sorry.

bt86, 22 Feb 2023 Dude wth did you smoke? just because you had a bad exper... moreThat's the thing reputable brand in spite of all the issues
I don't believe they are there cheap yea Xiaomi questionable brand but there not even the cheapest option either
The cheapest are probably umdigi or hotwav in terms of good hardware
They also don't have any blootware either but less well known
Xiaomi also more sketchly and doggy then other Chinese brands and is a bit iffy about specs they claim too have but more sneaky more missing then anything
Gaming editions phone by them have slower ram then the none gaming versions of same phones Xiaomi at there very worsed why do this
So bad
Huawei I was never a fan of probably was bit hash on there performance at the time
They where smooth even though spec sheet wasn't great not expensive either
I was probably bit hash on there software but might be spying on us which is really bad
But the us use any reason they can favour there brands over Chinese and give unfair advantage
When everyone had one however
But screen on them are garbage break way too easily
Samsung good but as battery problems so common this say a lot about there brand
Apple too stuck up there own backside anti consumer
But Xiaomi a wannabe copycat
It's like last time I posted though every brand started going down the drain at least most the popular ones
Crap there doing lately taken away changers and well everything that's not nailed down
But Xiaomi like worsed for it as they have no identity of there own or ideas unless they see another horrible anti consumer thing apple gets away with too copy

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2023They already use different materials for new battery anyway... moreIt's probably did enough too cover there backsides for warranty period
Xiaomi isn't trustworthy fast changing and going through too many cycles is bad for phone battery health
I definitey won't expect a phone die after a few years
A phone start working after the warranty ends would be really bad
Problems with battery blowing up are unfortunately way too common
Samsung got many phone like this as well
Not good
But like Xiaomi don't even care about safety regulations at all just going overkill with fast changing without thinking twice
Xiaomi 9a & 6a have this problem battery blowing up
as well as xiaomi 7 catch fire very poor in durable test
Maybe Xiaomi more just often faultly but I get the feeling by your reply there lol of problems with them overall
Maybe they put some protection in for fast changing but it's hard be sure

Anonymous, 23 Jan 2023uhhh, miui is the best, xiaomi doesnt overheat, theres like... moreMiui is the worsed version of android ever too exist
It's been said online and reviewsed as very bad os version
It's said that it's so bad and terrible so faultly broken updates by a brand that couldn't care less about there software just horrible
It's rated as worsed well know android os is miui favour software and Android version
As A by-product of this user's custom ROM existed for every xiaomi phone you can think of
Basically the everything just buys Xiaomi for custom ROM as probably no-one other than a masochist could possibly like miui
All of the blootware apps taking up all of the storage and being ridden with Pop ups and built-in ads everywhere or faulty released updates
It's hard see someone wanting live with there phone filled up with crapware like this

andibad, 26 Nov 2022Is kinda sad many people is defending the marketer to okay ... moreI can only agree on partial, OLED is dependent and only power saving if normal use with dark background, watching video, browse internet. Else, no power saving on gaming, and no power saving if always put the screen to highest brightness. Then, the power eating is also from the hungry processor. 256GB now is the norm, where now the most cost effective storage is 128GB or 256GB, 512GB is not cost effective for now, maybe future will become cheaper. Put out Micro SD and 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0 are for cost saving, that's why POCO smartphone is cheap. Virtual RAM is for marketing, won't improve much on performance, but will degrade the internal storage speed faster. The high wattage to charge do reduce the battery life in long run, however, you can opt for slower charge of 18W up to 27W with QC charger, it is your choice, and changing battery for POCO smartphone is also far cheaper than other brand.
All in all, there is only some brand that still going with the cheaper smartphone build, Xiaomi/POCO/Realme (Maybe the current Motorola) are among the few that still make these kind of smartphone, those are not perfect, but are good enough to use. Whatever people complain are either over demanding or too greedy. If you don't like budget flagship, just buy proper flagship from Samsung/Sony/OPPO/VIVO, Maybe Oneplus.

Luna, 20 Feb 2023Almost 1 year using this phone. It is perfect in all aspect... moreIt is your game that doesn't give you 120hz rather than the smartphone itself, especially those China developed games, they locked the game to run at 60fps only for global rom smartphone. The rest all blame to the stupid game that doesn't optimized well for 8 Gen 1 processor, or you can say it is 8 Gen 1 overheated problem, where avoiding the game to run in 120hz is to reduce the overheat.

Sin, 20 Dec 2022Ximomi probably the most sneaky and sketchly mainstream Chi... more Dude wth did you smoke? just because you had a bad experience with a brand doesn't mean that's the rule. From my experience, I had probably 4 or 5 Xiaomi in the past, also currently I own a mi11 ultra, and I have only positive things to say about the brand. I was for a long time die-hard Huawei fan and I still see them as probably the best when it comes to photography, hardware and design alone.
Even after the GMS ban implemented by the USA, my Huawei p40 pro served me for a long time whit no issues until the NFC payment stopped working ( UK Barclays own app, the bank doesn't allow their cards to be added to Gpay,- nothing related to the Huawei issue- long story), anyway after that I've drifted for a while buying mostly flagships only to return them after a couple of days (iPhone 12 pro max- charging was to slow and only 60hz refresh rate, coming from a hrr phone just doesn't do it), or keeping them for a week or two ( poco x3 pro, Pixel 6pro, Samsung Galaxy s21+ again slow charging speed and worse battery life and camera performance compared whit Huawei p40 pro- apart from pixel 6 pro which had a phenomenal camera, on par with p40 pro).
Now I've settled for a Xiaomi mi11 Ultra and I can say I'm happy for the moment, I had to import it from China because it was significantly cheaper, also I had a bit of hassle with unblocking the bootloader and installing Eu rom, I know isn't a thing most people will do but again you can always buy the Eu version in order to avoid any issues.
So yeah to cut the story short, I think you're being too harsh on Xiaomi, they are a reputable brand in spite of all the issues they have, they do deliver a good value for the price you pay.

Almost 1 year using this phone. It is perfect in all aspects. I have the 12/256GB version.
One thing I've noticed though is that the battery now drains faster, which is normal since it's a fast charging phone. Also, it doesn't give you a full 120fps if you're playing even with the game booster on. Otherwise, everything works smoothly & perfectly.

Sin, 05 Nov 2022120W fast charging should be banned it will surely kill sma... moreThey already use different materials for new battery anyway to support the fast charging, I highly doubt the fast charging can destroy the battery that quick. Furthermore many reasons to why your battery life reduce to none are probably bcz of using the phone while charging (obvious) plus most phones likely to have problems after the warranty ran out. Don't blame the brands, blame the user.
