Hello poco f6 pro users, is it safe to use BOOST charging since my device becomes very very hot while charging with original 120w charger? Is it good for battery life or am killing my battery faster?

Like I said on my previous comments on this comment section, installing the right gcam can make the results of this phone great and on my personal experience, my Redmi K70/F6 Pro took better photos than the S23 Plus' when we were on the Great Wall of China with my co-worker. The S23 Plus' shots were no slouch either, they were amazing. The main camera app can be good on capturing casual photos but if I shoot a photo on this, I would have to take some from the gcam mods I installed as well to make sure I have taken good shots on the scene. I would pick the best one to share online on my socials and the shots from gcam mods are what I find the best looking on most scenarios. This is no hate to Xiaomi, it's a totally honest opinion on my experiences with the phone itself. The camera, software(bugs) and the battery life aren't the best on this device. I have a Samsung device right now and I don't use it as much as my Xiaomi because it feels slow.

I said the camera is just so-so and the camera processing isn't the best. Good thing if you find it nice. I came from Huawei, Apple and Samsung, so I have my own benchmark of good cameras and the F6 Pro/K70 fails to impress for me. That's why I suggested that users should install the right gcam mod because the main camera app isn't the most reliable. As for games, they run really well but they don't feel as smooth compared to playing on ipads. The phone handles games well, but heating and optimization still is not good on Xiaomi devices. The battery life is bad even after updating to the latest software but the charging is just crazy fast.

I forgot to review it. Denggg!!!! Who say the poco f6pro camera is bad!?? HELL NOO. IT WAS SMOOTH WOYY!!! The Best camera for snap and video was smooth. Literally perfect for me!! Im not regret it to buy. Yes it does heating a lil bit it's like warm. But that is not a issue for me. Any phone does heat up. I oredi test on game. Dengggggg. It was smooth again.

                            I can tell ya, SD 888 was pretty bad. Not always, but it heats up fast randomly especially on playing video or just being on 5G.

I genuinely think it's one of the best device you can get for the price. Maybe get a Samsung A55 or wait for the A56 to come if the chipset isn't a problem for you. This phone is generally good and the specs are great, but HyperOS isn't so optimized that the battery life I get is bad for a 5000mAh cell.

I currently waiting this phone to drop at my location. I buy it at official xiaomi apps. N the price I got is 1699myr🇲🇾 storage 12/512gb. I buy this phone for game such as ML,Pubg, Codm, I didn't play much game but thats all with other easy game. The camera is not a problem with me, I guess. Bcz my current phone is redmi note 11s 5g with ugly camera XD if I want to take picture I only use the snapchat hahahaha. I rarely use the main camera. After I read ur comment. Well I be try downloading the gcam later. I asking here bcz the poco f6pro review is no where to be found. Like not so many review it on YouTube. I even try finding it on reddit to check the review comments. Hahaha. Well thank you. I did change my mind. To cancel this phone. And survey more a lil bit on other device. Any recommend?

I game more often right now because I'm taking a break from work, so I drain the battery faster than your usage. This is maybe why it heats up too. My issue with the software right now is that apps from Meta (Facebook, IG and FB Messenger), would not open. I have to close these apps once or thrice for them to load properly. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens a lot. I guess this is Meta's fault because it does not happen to other apps. I also can not use the photos app on split screen mode with other apps. It'll say that the I have to drag further which results to the other app getting remove from split screen feature. In terms of smoothness, I don't see any difference from HyperOS 1.

                                      This one crashes a lot so I uninstalled it. I have other versions that are more stable but they're not as good for my taste. Find the gcam mods you might like and test them yourself. You can always play with the camera settings too.

                                        Anonymous, 19 Dec 2024Does rhe heating issue still an issue with rhis phone? I never had heating issues with it (I do not play games). This is the coolest phone I ever had when it comes to normal usage. The latest Hyper OS 2 update exceeded all my expectations: Phone is faster, animations are much smoother everywhere in the UI, no more wifi disconnect issues.
