I purposely use gcam mods whenever I take photos from my device and compare the photos from the main camera app and the gcam mods I installed. The photos from the main camera app are straight up bad for my taste. The photos are brightened, saturated and has a weird color science. The details are decent as long as you have good lighting condition. The gcam mods help deal with these issues but they're not perfect either. I'm yet to find another gcam mod again that straight up beat the Galaxy S23 Plus' photos of my co-worker when we went to the Great Wall of China. My workmates were mind-blown with the results that that gcam mod took. I couldn't find that gcam mod again after uninstalling it because it would crash all the time. I haven't used the selfie of this phone much but they're not good as far as I can tell. The videos are decent as long as you have plenty of lighting. The quality drops significantly if you are in low light situations whether in photo or video mode. So in conclusion, install the best gcam mod for the phone to get the best possible quality of its hardware. The results can be great.

                    My F6 Pro is stuck on the May 2024 Google play-system update, which is the one it was delivered with. Nothing I tried would make it update to November or at least October. Anyone else facing this issue?
                    Now that Xiaomi is on track with it's HyperOS updates, of course there are other update problems. It's a shame.

                    Btw, my X3 Pro, 11T, M4 Pro are all up to date with their Google Patches.

At least, it wont be shutting down any apps or restrict you from using your phone for a while to cool down. It's perfectly usable but it heats up more often than I'd like to. Because optimization isn't great on Xiaomi, the battery life isn't really good for a 5000mAh battery. The mindblowing charging speed does help with that though. I have been using this for months now and the charging speed still blows me away with how impressive it is.

I personally am not bothered about it but Xiaomi's optimization is not great. 5000mAh on the phone
                              is underwhelming and very far off from the experience I had with old Xperias which has 3000+mAh yet performs much more solid than this. The battery life can do a full day with normal use(social media, browsing, youtube, work-related apps) but if I play games on it, it will need to be charged again. I leave it with around 12% left before I sleep and sometimes, it just drains empty despite not being used. My Xperias of the past would drain only about 1-3% overnight or none at all. My Samsung drains quite a lot as well but not as bad as this. Optimization is bad on Xiaomi. It's still a good phone overall but it does have bugs.

                                      Oh and it does supports Aptx Lossless (it's merged under aptx Adaptive setting, just make sure aptx Adaptive mode is set to High quality mode which is the default)

                                        From seeing reviews, this phone is OK, not greatest, I suppose (?)
                                        More importantly, I see it being sold with irresistible price, and I'm going to try it out and see legit / scam.
                                        I think it's fine to try it out as in case if it is a scam, the online shopping app allows refund anyways.
