I even encounter very slow loading of apps now, some do not even open at all so I'm forced to open the app again for it to load completely. Sometimes, I'm forced to close and then reopen the app for the third time to load it properly. I don't know what Xiaomi is even doing right now. For a device that has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, this sure is garbage in app opening and has bad battery. Even my really old Xperia M2 from 2014 did not even behave like this, even though it only had a really low RAM and a midranger processor. Optimization is just so bad with Xiaomi, HyperOS is good aesthetically, but the bugs and these software issues are just so hard to neglect considering that I encounter these everyday.

According to battery data from web, kind of like not best either.
And I am wondering what's the reason for this.
Is it because of the battery, some internal component or display?

I've been using this phone for 7 months now and after updating to HyperOS 2 the battery lasts even longer than before, there's no question of degradation. Nobody cares what will happen in 5 years, because the phone will be outdated before the battery becomes weak. A 25W charger is an embarrassment in 2025. Once you try a 120W charger, you'll never go back to 25W toys 😉.

However, noting your argument is a bit off when you mention about HyperOS as one of better features.

The cameras and battery life performance are letdowns though and and yes, even my Huawei flagship from 2018 beats this in file transfer speeds via USB cable because it's just USB 2.0.

Great phone I've had for a few months now, great for emulation and gaming, only downside is it's USB 2.0 so it's quite as slow to transfer things and had no USB-C video output but at this price it's a small inconvenience

For the price, it's definitely decent for most use cases. I've seen better and more mature processing from my Samsungs, Apple, Huawei, and Google. Please don't say it has excellent main camera, it doesn't. It has a decent camera at best. Just install gcam mods to work great to improve the camera experience, that's the only solution.

The main sensor on the F6 Pro (Light Fusion 800) has almost identical specifications to the Sony IMX890 on the 12R, both phones share the same chipset, so there can be no advantage for the 12R . The photo processing algorithm is currently better on Xiaomi phones than on OnePlus. Overall, better cameras on the F6 Pro. Display is better on the F6 Pro, 526ppi. The battery is better on the 12R, but charging is a little faster on the F6 Pro. Storage speed is better on F6 Pro (UFS 4.0 vs 3.1). HyperOS 2.0 works like a charm. When you consider that the F6 Pro costs $100 less, it's clear which phone is the better buy ;)

I never use those secondary cameras on my phone, so they don't really matter to me.
