If you put one and still have battery life then you'll know that it's mostly hardware issue.... well even if you find out about it, it's too late as you will void your warranty; but at least you will know you should avoid this brand next time or not.
Or else the battery usage may settle down on its own after some time?

The real fanboys are those that blindly ride their fave OEMs bick and won't complain about such things even when these problem exists. As a result, these OEMs won't see any problem on their end even when they clearly lack the software optimization to improve their battery life. Samsung and Apple takes the cake with optimization but Xiaomi comes on top with plain hardware, and I chose the latter any day not because I ride on my fave OEM's bick, but because 120W is much more handy. If you're fine with fast charging but bad battery life, stay that way and not call out Xiaomi for having bad battery optimization, but I will. I want a great battery life + fast charging combo on my device so that I won't have to find charging plugs every so often.

The thing is I little bit worry regarding buying this phone over realme gt 6!!! As I couldn't find a global version for gt 6 right now on AliExpress ( I don't know why??) but many comments from people here and there say this phone has heating issue, bad selfie camera and short battery life.. that's why I little bit worry about these things!!!??

Much better than overpriced A55/A56, even better than S23. Very good batery/charging, flagship display, performance, build quality... Main camera takes better photos than S23 in low light/night conditions. HyperOS 2.0 is way better than MIUI, great Ai features and excellent connectivity with Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
Samsung fans are crying in the comments because they don't have anything better in this price range, even the latest A56 can't come close to this F6Pro.

I do admit the 1st version of HyperOS is crap, the HyperOS 2 is way better, but still not perfect. And..... For this brand..... I do admit the UI and updates are crap, it is a POCO thing, which also sound true for brand such as Realme, Honor, iQoo, Redmagic where these brand selling hardware on low price, but doesn't really care on UI optimization, also sound true for Vivo/OPPO on almost similar price product. To break these, maybe stick back to Samsung with 7 years of updates, Samsung S24 FE could be the one to go despite it is using Samsung's own Exynos.

No usb 3.0 in 2024!!Samsung A55 similar price also only provide USB2.0 and you never complain, shame on you, and you never mention about you can use Android Quick Share to boost speed, very very shame on you as you don't know how to properly use an Android smartphone to it's full caliber. Those complain? Never even want to listen.

Damn, the battery drain is just so bad. I accidentally slept on the phone at around 9:40PM as I was watching something in the Loklok app, with my earbuds connected via bluetooth and wifi on, with the phone at around 70-80% left, and the phone really died down to 0% when I woke up at 2:50AM. INCREDIBLE BATTERY OPTIMIZATION XIAO-FREAKING-MI! This has been incredibly frustrating! I've done this on my previous devices but they would never die on me like this even with more apps and features opened/turned on. The screen was even at around 20% brightness only! Their promises of their new software is a joke. I miss it when OEMs really meant that "improved battery optimization" on their software updates especially those from Sony which literally optimized your battery life and you can just observe how good the battery became after the update. On this brick on the other hand, you just see no improvements or even worse performance coming from it. I'm so done with this device but I just can't throw it away as it's been reliable most of the time, way better than my Samsung in almost all aspect.

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2025Shouldn't be that bad, you may have a defective device. Not all all. It's battery is still in 'excellent' condition. Rather than point the finger at the user, we should just acknowledge that Xiaomi still can't fix their battery drain issues with HyperOS. I don't think that's gonna change soon.

Can I just reiterate how bad the battery life on this garbage is? It's not been a freakin hour since I fully charged this brick, played MLBB on medium settings, has my earbuds connected via bluetooth and only has wifi connected with only the game running and no other apps running in the background, and it went down to 73% in like 30 mins? It's not even in QHD display mode, only in FHD+. How GARBAGE is HyperOS? This is the first time I feel so annoyed with the battery life of any devices I've had. This is such a wasted device because its been great for the most part but battery life, it's a freakin disaster. Never again to Xiaomi.

Was the 16/1tb model a limited release in EU? I can get it for just over 500€ in a couple of stores in my country but wondering if its worth it over the 12/256gb which is under 400€ in many places.
