I can tell ya, SD 888 was pretty bad. Not always, but it heats up fast randomly especially on playing video or just being on 5G.

I genuinely think it's one of the best device you can get for the price. Maybe get a Samsung A55 or wait for the A56 to come if the chipset isn't a problem for you. This phone is generally good and the specs are great, but HyperOS isn't so optimized that the battery life I get is bad for a 5000mAh cell.

I buy it at official xiaomi apps. N the price I got is 1699myr🇲🇾 storage 12/512gb. I buy this phone for game such as ML,Pubg, Codm, I didn't play much game but thats all with other easy game. The camera is not a problem with me, I guess. Bcz my current phone is redmi note 11s 5g with ugly camera XD if I want to take picture I only use the snapchat hahahaha. I rarely use the main camera. After I read ur comment. Well I be try downloading the gcam later. I asking here bcz the poco f6pro review is no where to be found. Like not so many review it on YouTube. I even try finding it on reddit to check the review comments. Hahaha. Well thank you. I did change my mind. To cancel this phone. And survey more a lil bit on other device. Any recommend?

XiaomiUser, 13 Jan 2025I never had heating issues with it (I do not play games). T... moreI'm using HyperOS 2.0 too and heating up is still there. I game more often right now because I'm taking a break from work, so I drain the battery faster than your usage. This is maybe why it heats up too. My issue with the software right now is that apps from Meta (Facebook, IG and FB Messenger), would not open. I have to close these apps once or thrice for them to load properly. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens a lot. I guess this is Meta's fault because it does not happen to other apps. I also can not use the photos app on split screen mode with other apps. It'll say that the I have to drag further which results to the other app getting remove from split screen feature. In terms of smoothness, I don't see any difference from HyperOS 1.

This one crashes a lot so I uninstalled it. I have other versions that are more stable but they're not as good for my taste. Find the gcam mods you might like and test them yourself. You can always play with the camera settings too.

Anonymous, 19 Dec 2024Does rhe heating issue still an issue with rhis phone? I never had heating issues with it (I do not play games). This is the coolest phone I ever had when it comes to normal usage. The latest Hyper OS 2 update exceeded all my expectations: Phone is faster, animations are much smoother everywhere in the UI, no more wifi disconnect issues.

I purposely use gcam mods whenever I take photos from my device and compare the photos from the main camera app and the gcam mods I installed. The photos from the main camera app are straight up bad for my taste. The photos are brightened, saturated and has a weird color science. The details are decent as long as you have good lighting condition. The gcam mods help deal with these issues but they're not perfect either. I'm yet to find another gcam mod again that straight up beat the Galaxy S23 Plus' photos of my co-worker when we went to the Great Wall of China. My workmates were mind-blown with the results that that gcam mod took. I couldn't find that gcam mod again after uninstalling it because it would crash all the time. I haven't used the selfie of this phone much but they're not good as far as I can tell. The videos are decent as long as you have plenty of lighting. The quality drops significantly if you are in low light situations whether in photo or video mode. So in conclusion, install the best gcam mod for the phone to get the best possible quality of its hardware. The results can be great.

My F6 Pro is stuck on the May 2024 Google play-system update, which is the one it was delivered with. Nothing I tried would make it update to November or at least October. Anyone else facing this issue?
Now that Xiaomi is on track with it's HyperOS updates, of course there are other update problems. It's a shame.
Btw, my X3 Pro, 11T, M4 Pro are all up to date with their Google Patches.

At least, it wont be shutting down any apps or restrict you from using your phone for a while to cool down. It's perfectly usable but it heats up more often than I'd like to. Because optimization isn't great on Xiaomi, the battery life isn't really good for a 5000mAh battery. The mindblowing charging speed does help with that though. I have been using this for months now and the charging speed still blows me away with how impressive it is.
