The fact that Poco phones have been out for years now and other OEM's (such as Samsung & Google) surely Poco/Xiaomi would "get the memo" and be reminded the utmost importance of regular and timely security and quality of life updates. To most of us end users they are STILL a necessity. Don't you think?

I've been using this phone for a couple of days and it's been a very nice experience. Though I do wish they went "ultra" with the battery and gave it at least a 6500mah size battery! 🔋

Like it's not supposed to be the thinnest and lightest phone, just make it a proper beast by giving it a huge battery. It's really a missed opportunity!!

At one point, they might just made the security patch as separate part just like the apps where it can be update separately regardless of manufacturer and Android version, but not now. Then, for now, if you want monthly patch, like to see frequent updates, then go for Samsung or Google, but be ready to pay more. The rest, if you like to root, install a lot of junk apps which Android allow you to do, then nothing can protect you.
Yes, we all know you have high expectation, you help the world become better by speaking out, but you are not the manufacturer, the problem won't solve.

It's amusing that some be... moreIt really depend, because for many of the users, not so much using the ports of laptop too, not being a heavy user, and not everyone need to work on Microsoft Office. Apps on the smartphone can be simplified and optimized to automate something that need to be done manually in laptop. I do admit not all stuff can be done on smartphone, but for some easy process, it can be done. So, at the end, the smartphone hardware is not the limitation, but the smartphone software is, meaning it is all depend on developer if they want to have cross platform for their apps. Since now there are AI, meaning software get more and more powerful, maybe one day all we need is just a smartphone to handle all these, not now, but in future. Stuck in USB 2.0 is no more a problem, because this phone is equipped with WiFi 7, which is faster than the USB 3.0. Back to the question, it is up to the software whether want to use WiFi 7 for all the transfer. Yes, it needs compatibility, IOS or Windows might not support natively for cross platform wireless transfer.
