Tushar Arora, 18 Jul 2022I purchased my POCO M3 on 24th June 2021 via Flipkart and i... morei bought poco m3 last year aug.2021 . i prefered this phone because i was not having the need of high specs because i do all my needed works and stuffs in my laptop. one of my family member bought poco f1 (which was actually a great phone).so i thought poco m3 will be a good option for me. but now days these companies are making the os and hardwares in such a way,that they will perform best for 1 year (means till the warranty period ) and after that they will show these type of hard brick and dead boot like serious issues....
my poco m3 automatically restarted 5-6 times within this week.and i'm damn sure it is also going to be like others.

ENTER0, 10 Jul 2022Not sure when deadboot will hit my M3 but trying to not to ... moreAfter this stupid 12.5.4 update my phone's wifi range has gotten down drastically. when you are away from your router lets say 10 to 15 m its range drops so quickly.this issue was not present in previous miui version its really annoying cant use any social media apps without having to wait like 10m to load so frustrating

hello, please just to ask, for those who have experienced the deadboot more than once, does upgrading it solve the problem as mine is currently on MIUI 12.0.11.0 and it just came out of deadboot after about 15 days

Mine keeps doing that every few weeks so i leave the battery to completely drain which takes several days during which time i use my back up phone, then once the M3 can be restarted i use that again till the deadboot happens and then the cycle continues. It's been like that since the beginning of this year.

It will take about 3-7 days for a Poco M3 battery to completely drain. Best to leave it for a full week before trying to recharge and switch on.

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2022Hello, did u experience the deadboot previously or you jus... moreMine already has been through this three times, first time I let the battery drain completely (around 14 hours without charging it), then charging it and pressing the volume down and power button and the same time and the screen popped like normal. Second time I went to a local and they told me it was a short circuit or a malfunction of some hardware in the phone and apparently it was solved; both of these times occurred when I restarted the phone. however this last time I had to restart it because the camera produced an error and the phone didn't reproduce any video or audio of any kind (YT, TW, downloaded music, etc.), and of course, it went dead again, but this time none of the button combinations seem to work and I can't go and spend $30 every time the phone decides to shut down. I went to an official Xiaomi shop in a plaza around here and they told me maintenance can't be done since I bought it online.
Maybe if you can manage to open the back of the phone (which was pretty hard for me), carefully detach some part (maybe the battery too) and assemble it again maybe it will boot up. I recommend doing a backup as soon as you can get it to work again.
Finally, if someone is considering on BUYING this phone, just don't do it, this dead boot problem is VERY COMMON and it's just not worth it, it would be a great phone if it worked normally without this kind of issues, you're better buying a redmi or oppo.

I purchased my POCO M3 on 24th June 2021 via Flipkart and it’s still in genuinely new condition without any scratch.
Day before yesterday (i.e. on 15th July, 2022) I installed my official MIUI software update and yesterday night (i.e. on 16th July, 2022) it automatically switched off while I was using my WhatsApp on it. I tried Switching it on but it won’t. I charged it and tried again but the result is same dead phone. It’s not even charging with any charger and now it’s not turning back on.
I couldn’t visit to service center today as it was Sunday. I had registered my complaint on your site also. Still no response. I’ve tweeted about the issue. Bot reply came to chat in DM but you guys won’t respond in that also. I’ve even seen HUNDREDS of complaints regarding this same issue by POCO M3 & X3 users on Twitter of Poco India in this last 2 days. I need a solution for this immediately. The service also denied the repair for it.

mine is on deadboot for almost 14 days now and whe i connect to laptop its still noticeable with a beep. dont know how long this will continue. can someone offer some suggestion plssss

My phone POCO m3 gone switched off, after battery low i tried to power on, keep charging for several hours but phone is dead. Lots of important data is lost. no solution is available. i think this happened after XIOMI update. I heared from several persons even though mobile repair shop is unable to repair. Its not a good sign for XIOMI. They should share the solution of this problematic update.

suffering from deadscreen issue 😥 i like this phone but xiaomi can someone of you could explain why our phone encounter this kind of problem, after updating by itself my phone doesn't open again. lots of memory with my family was install of my poco now even single pic i dont have.

After the update 12.5.8 enhance version the deadboot is gone i think there already remove the bug my is fine evethough i reboot is several times should try it but i dont guarantee
