Sharing, 09 Dec 2020Ads can be disabled completely with a few steps (btw I am u... morebro its true you can disable ads in deep settings of app but some time even after disabling or updating app its turn its self back on , and with adb debloater , you can uninstall the junk apps a process not alot of people dare to do . And i have no idea about your daughter note 8 , but lot of my friends after updating miui or major update they have lags and geekbench score gets decreased drastically if you compare it , again you have to do it before updating and you will know a big difference in cpu performance decline and whats the worst even after decreasing cpu performance the battery gets worst , whether you do factory reset or flash the complete firmware it remain same . The reason they have improved the performance m3 initially is to boost the sale once the sale is done they will kill the performance again through useless update . That;s the real fact

Why the front camera is so bad? Is it hardware issue and cant be fix? Or a software update can somehow improve it? Overall the phone is good! The only problem is the garbage front camera!

Just go to the Mi app store and install Google framework and related apps. Google Pay won't work on Chinese rom though, so the best is still to get the global version.

Bloatware can be removed with ADB fastboot tools no rooting needed. The latest firmware fixed a lot of the lags and stutters on the M3. And I disagree with you that big updates from Xiaomi slow down phones. My daughter's Redmi Note 8 works smoother after upgrade from MIUI 10 to 11, and seeing improvement to battery life too.

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2020Guys! between Redmi 9 and this Poco M3 Which one is better ... morebro both of them are not good for gaming , redmi g80 is a good processor for gaming better than snapdragon 662 , but worst case scenario with xiaomi phone are they slow down processor with each big update , its market gimmick . More or less snapdragon in poco m3 is not good for gaming ,people are happy about xiaomi phone being cheap but lot of bloatwares and ads has killled the phone true performance , snapdragon 662 is not bad , its miui which eats big chunk of ram and hamper soc performance .

And if you want slightly more cpu performance little bit useless more extra camera then go for redmi 9.because of day to day life 90% photo we take on main Len's.
