Why the front camera is so bad? Is it hardware issue and cant be fix? Or a software update can somehow improve it? Overall the phone is good! The only problem is the garbage front camera!

Just go to the Mi app store and install Google framework and related apps. Google Pay won't work on Chinese rom though, so the best is still to get the global version.

buggyman, 09 Dec 2020bro both of them are not good for gaming , redmi g80 is a g... moreAds can be disabled completely with a few steps (btw I am using Malaysian set global version Mi phones and I never receive any ads, not even the need to disable ads). Bloatware can be removed with ADB fastboot tools no rooting needed. The latest firmware fixed a lot of the lags and stutters on the M3. And I disagree with you that big updates from Xiaomi slow down phones. My daughter's Redmi Note 8 works smoother after upgrade from MIUI 10 to 11, and seeing improvement to battery life too.

More or less snapdragon in poco m3 is not good for gaming ,people are happy about xiaomi phone being cheap but lot of bloatwares and ads has killled the phone true performance , snapdragon 662 is not bad , its miui which eats big chunk of ram and hamper soc performance .

And if you want slightly more cpu performance little bit useless more extra camera then go for redmi 9.because of day to day life 90% photo we take on main Len's.

Guys! between Redmi 9 and this Poco M3 Which one is better in term of performance(Gaming and heavy usage app)? Both 4GB RAM in this case. I save up some money and I don't want to be disappointed or regret.

Front camera quality sucks! Even a phone with less than 100$ price has better front camera than this crap!
Too bright! Over exposure! Lots of noise!
