I have long been a Xiaomi fan, not anymore, all too large and missing great rear fingerprint scanner. I usually try 2 or 3 new phones a year but I'm still using 2018's Pocophone F1, perfect size and great rear fingerprint scanner. The side mounted ones are marginally better than the underdisplay ones but not by much. I hate their standard display size - 6.67 inches. This one is a bit smaller but it is ruined by being too wide at over 77 mm. Any phone over 75 mm starts to get unwieldy.

Xiaomi... Why are we still using the cortex A73 from 2015? I know it's budget but they should have tried the Snapdragon 675 at the minimum.

M3 is a good budget device. 130€ cost for EU purchases (including taxe and postage) is a good price, competitive to Redmi series but with Redmi note specs.

Gotta say I love the design. Too many plastic phones try to feel like glass, and they always get all greasy and scratched up. This one has more of a leathery texture that isn't trying to be something it's not, but rather tries to optimize the texture best for the material. On top of it there doesn't seem to be any not smooth edges.

Oh and that yellow with that black camera area looks amazing. One of my favorite designs this year.

Can anyone explain me what is going on with the NFC feature not present in many new phones, Xiaomi etc.? Where is the catch? I though this feature would be on every new phone these days.
