Perfect phone for the money. The price will probably drop further overtime. Xiaomi nevers fails to amaze us.

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2020how is selfie camera? some say its good others no, whats yo... moreIf you want a flagship level selfie you should buy tge mi 9 lite it has an amazing 32mpx selfie camera as good as the flagship mi 9, it has also an amazing hdr super amoled display and it is glass and aluminium as premuim as flagships search for it, it is a tresor if you find it for 200€, for these specs if it was samsung it would be 350€ but it is not
Also bezels are super thin bcuz it is a flagship display
Except the m30s wich has a bad build quality and design, a great amoled, not as good as the mi 9 lite and a not great at all soc for the price but it is not very bad(soc)
You should search mi 9 lite and not redmi bcuz redmi are not exellent in selfie , Mi is for flagship

With the same price you better get Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (SD 665 || Gorilla Glass 5 || 4K Video Recording || 13MP Selfie Camera with HDR)

This phone is really not a compromise, it's a budget low-end killer, just like Poco X3 NFC, which is the "midrange killer"

Screen: Lacks brightness, at least it's FHD
Mobile platform: it was that they put Mediatek to save costs
Camera: with the money saved on the mobile platform; put only main and wide angle, getting rid of the cameras goop.
IT HAS STEREO SPEAKER, USB-C and 6000 mah although a 22W load would be phenomenal.

phone have 22.5W charger + Gyroscope
wish they also bring 6/256 version for china only
OF COURSE with better chipset like SD710, SD712, HELIO P90(P95) + NFC + 27W
is it possible to bring 6/256 for china with UFS3 in this class?😎

But still have to appreciate the fact that they didn't stretch the screen to 6.7 inch👍. Could have made it look better by using a Redmi note 5 or Asus max Pro M1 type front. 😇

So many complains and none are even valid. This is a $135 phone. It's basically a budget entry killer phone. This is for those who were transitioning from a keypad phone/cheap trashy phone to a legitimate phone.

If you're not slapping another 20-odd grams of casing on it, 198 g is actually reasonable considering the battery capacity. That 9.6 mm thickness though, it's another story.
