Anonymous, 30 Aug 2021What do you think is the best buy here? and Why? Poco M3... moreBuy Poco M3 pro 5g if you are looking for 5G connectivity. Otherwise if you are a gamer then go for the Poco x3 pro. Although this phone can run pubg , call of duty without any problems but with medium setting.

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2021What do you think is the best buy here? and Why? Poco M3... moreDefinitely the Poco x3 pro. It's obviously more powerful chipset wise. Has a decent screen and decent sound/volume and battery/fast charging.

Plus all the previous software bugs seemed to have been ironed out in the recent software updates.

4GB ram usage for iOS is different than on Android, Hamza. iOS uses RAM much more efficiently since Apple produces both hardware and software. 4GB was Android's recommended minimum until like 2 years ago.

Hamza Kaleem, 26 Aug 2021I know what ram means what ram does. But, more doesn't... moreMIUI is a very heavy customized UI.

Android is generally awful when it comes to ram management (when compared to iOS).

The more ram an android device has - the more smoother and stable the performance/multi tasking is.

Yes other factors such as the processor/storage type etc are all involved - but using a 4GB ram android phone in 2021, coupled with an entry level dimensity 5G chip - on top of a very heavy customized UI, is asking for trouble/lag.

Just buy the 6gb model. The price difference between the 4gb and 6gb is also very miniscule.

Future proof your handset. Trust me.

But, more doesn't mean more smoothness in every case ( it does in some cases but not all). Smoothness depend more on the processor than the ram when ram is enough(that's why I was asking if there's any lag in the 6gb variant), 4gb ram is enough in most of the cases, and 6gb is more than enough in this way.

I bought one. It's so cheap around 200$. The 5G connectivity works so perfect. I used it normally for enabling the mobile hotspot.

The camera is fine not great. The battery last more than a day and it charge so fast. I can play several game with no lag. The phone does not heat at all but The touch screen is ok but not good as Samsung midrange phones. The speaker is strong and there is FM radio with SD card slot.

Finally for the price it's great phone. You will buy a midrange phone for price of budget phone. Highly recommended it.

I know the screen has been heavily critized in reviews, especially for being dark, but I love it.

The combination of a dark display, paper mode and color correction has been a godsend for my eye's, when reading ebooks and browsing articles online.

                                      No more eye strain!

This device has been the friendliest to my eye's so far, especially during the evenings.

I ran antutu v9 recently, and got a score of 332k, which isn't bad. The gpu scores were slightly low, but I'm not really a gamer, so this doesn't affect me too much.

The volume through the headphone jack could be better. The poco x3 pro headphone volume is super loud! So this was a slight disappointment.

But overall, for a brand new device for £150, this isn't bad at all.

Its really a good phone though in my first 3days using this phone the 90hz is very laggy. But i dont know what i did its now super smooth no lags even in 90hz. Really worth the price. No heat even i play many games in high settings and they say when they charge this phone, heats up alot, but in my experience yes its heats but just around 38°. The camera is not that good but as long as the i can play games in high settings without heating, i probably recommend this great phone.
