Poco M4 5G goes official with Dimensity 700 SoC, 50MP camera, and 90Hz screen
The Poco M4 5G runs Android 12-based MIUI 13 and comes in two memory configurations - 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB.
The Dimensity 700-powered smartphone packs a 6.58" 90Hz FullHD+ LCD, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and has a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The panel supports an adaptive refresh rate, meaning it can switch between 30Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz depending on the content type.
The rear panel of the Poco M4 5G, flaunting what Poco calls a Hypnotic Swirl Design, sports two cameras - 50MP primary and 2MP depth units.
The rest of the Poco M4 5G's highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, Hi-res audio certification, USB-C, and IP52 rating. Fueling the entire package is a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W wired and 5W reverse wired charging support. However, the adapter that comes bundled can go up to 22.5W.
The Poco M4 5G is offered in three colors and will be available for purchase in India starting May 5 through Flipkart. Its 4GB/64GB model is priced at INR12,999 ($170/€160), whereas the 6GB/128GB version will cost you INR14,999 ($195/€185). However, those buying the smartphone with their SBI credit card are entitled to a limited-time discount of INR2,000 ($26/€24).
