Yext, 05 Sep 2022Yeah, this phone is horrible 'cause of the design, but... moreI saw it, seems that most info leaked earlier today. It's basically a Redmi 6A with more RAM, battery, screen size, most recent Android and MIUI 12 and zero changes on chipset, which is still the same Helio A22. =/
My Redmi 6A bravely handles basic daily tasks, except Instagram and all other demanding apps, but it's soon going to die due to lack of internal storage and forced upgrades of some apps, like YouTube.
It was a nice phone in 2018, but with these specs, it can't even load most apps correctly.

I mean, they don't need to come with brand new and exclusive designs on each phone. Some older designs are still nice, and I don't see any problem in mantaining them, maybe doing a few tweks here and there, but nothing extreme. It would be way better than copying other brands but doing it worse.

I had good expectations with this one, but got honestly frustrated. :( It's a powerful phone indeed, mainly due Helio G99, and in comparison to other phones at the same category, but no other spec seems to makes it worth of 170 euros.
I would save 30 euros more for an Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G or even 100 euros more to get a Vivo V25e for a more premium constrution, AMOLED 90hz screen, main camera with OIS, 44w charger and IP54.

i would consider it more of a sidegrade instead of an upgrade

Thats front camera would definitely needs to be improved.
Support 2 Mpix cameras i would definitely forbid to sale because they are worse than bad.
18W charging is also too slow.
Othervise looks okay.
