cheap price
it has an AMOLED screen and sterio speakers but dont expect good quality at this price.but still better than IPS screens.
no heating issues no software bugs
okay performance
good charging speed but the battery won't last a day at medium usage. but still better than some phones that doesn't come with charger and do not support fast charging with double the price.

This phone is upgradable to Android 13, MIUI 14 but you haven't mentioned it 😐 I just bought and upgraded it (here in Iran) 😎

Hello, i have a problem with this device poco m5s... Running speed of internet is not stable... I checked it and found that the speed of download in experiment 1 is 22 mb/s and running again in experiment 2 or 3, the speed of download became only 1 mb/s...in reality, i often loss signal when watching you tube and fast forward the video... The video was not moving... The solutiin only close you tube and running again... Some body can help me?

Bought this at $130 on 9.9 sale. Very satisfy with everything, switching between apps are seamless and smooth. The camera is decent , great stabilization with 4k recording ability. Recently received update to MIUI 14 or android 13 and the battery efficiency and app like Youtube browsing is smoother( it used to has some minor bug with the video loading on MIUI 13 ). I'm using this phone also for my work like video editing, it's been great so far.

20 - 90%.

Just bought Poco M5s 4/64 2 weeks ago... Check battery health only 4.500 mah but still can running for 1 days..The phone can play CODM with high graphic smoothly but the phone easily become hot.. The screen is excelent.... I only use 18 watt charger, long to wait untill battery full (2.5 hrs).. I have tried charger 65 watt from xiaomi can activated turbo charging but the phones temperature become 42 degree Celcius...

Halgurd, 08 Aug 2023I do not think Xiaomi slows down phones, only apple does this.nah xiaomi slowdowns the phone every update. i experienced it in my Poco M3 its so lag after update so i downgrade it

Most likely the non tech savvy user would buy the Redmi equivalent model of Poco.

Does Poco M5s battery drains too fast after MIUI 14 update when when idle/light use? After I update Poco M4 Pro 4G to MIUI 14 using official over-the-air (OTA) update at settings, the battery drains too fast even when idle/light usage. When I search MIUI 14 battery drain issue, I noticed somehow older Xiaomi phones got battery drain issue after MIUI 14 update. Does this means Xiaomi phones would likely get battery drain issue with newer official update unless we update to custom ROM? Share your thoughts.

basically budget phone for village people, kids, factory aunties and uncles
which is enough. autofocus camera, long battery, nice screen, fancy shiny design.
even robbers wont snatch them because they basically worthless for secondhand haha

when i first used the phone it was good, but after months it starts to slow down 👎
but at least its half of the price of Samsung phones with fast charging and with charger included.
