The Ultimate question :
Is the proximity sensor issue going to be fixed ?
I had the exact same issue with poco x3 nfc and they totally fixed it with an update , but is it the same for GT ?
Are we going to say finally that it's a problem free phone ! Cz proximity sensor is the only issue I'm facing and I'm a heavy user !

I got it for $250 on 11.11 sale. Will update my opinions soon but I have to say that the specs to price ratio is excellent.

Anyone have an issue with data connection in LTE setting?
Sometime I lost data connection in LTE setting even my signal is power full, problem solved when turning airplane mode on and off, but will come again and again

      Miui indonesia version 12.5.1

Has any of the x3 GT owners encountered any issues so far?
Common issues for x3 pro as Ghost touch, unresponsive part of screen...etc,
Does GT have those problems too?

Also, how is proximity sensor? Hardware or software? And its performance?

Been using this phone for 3 months now! And I am very happy that I chose this device. Gaming with no lags/fps drops. Great screen with 120hz display. Best budget gaming phone i had so far. I used to have p30 and nova 5t from huawei but compared to those 2 phones this X3 GT is a lot better!

Even Google Pixel 6, iPhone 13, or Sony Xperia 5 II.

But X3 GT has better battery life and faster charging. And I heard X3 GT's cameras are also better (especially the ultrawide) according to gsmarena.

The screen on this phone uses pwm ? I am very sensitive to that and i cant waste my money on a phone i cant use. I cant find information about this online, maybe because this model is not that popular.

                                  Sorry bad english.

PD: yes...some lcd screens uses pwm...poco x3 pro is one of then, thats why i am worried.

Angelo, 10 Nov 2021Which is better, Poco X3 GT (8-128) vs Poco F3 (6-128) r... moreIf you're really decided between those two and are not open to other models from other brands, I suggest to save up a bit for the 8/256 F3. Here's why:

                                    > SD 870 is around 10-15% faster than the Dimensity 1100, especially if you're playing games (which I assume your primary criteria is 'cause of your said choices). As much as I love the competition that MTK is finally bringing to Qualcomm, the SD chips are still by far the ones getting more optimization by software devs as SD is the market leader. Also, it's pretty much a certainty of having available custom ROMs for SD-powered phones.

                                    > Better build quality if your prefer glass back over plastic.

                                    > AMOLED vs IPS LCD is a debate for some. For me, AMOLED or a derivative of it is going to be the future. I also heard the screen dimming issue for the F3 but apparently, Xiaomi/Poco have fixed it.

                                    > The cameras is where I'm not sure, but I'm going to assume that they are both more or less the same midrange quality.

                                    > Get the 8/256 because Xiaomi/Poco OS already uses around 3.5-4 GB of RAM now. Meanwhile, resource-heavy games use around 0.5-1GB or more. With future updates, expect both the OS and apps to use more memory and your 6 GB RAM will be already full after a couple of years. Also, because both don't have a memory card slot, you won't have any way of storing your apps other than your internal storage.

From where I live, the 8/256 F3 is already having flash sales of around 350-$360. With vouchers, it can lower down to $330. The 8/256 X3 GT here on the other hand is having flash sales of around $300. With vouchers, it will get discounted to around $280. So around a $40 difference, a very good trade of additional features for the price increase IMO.

However, if budget is really tight and you can't give that $40, I would like to suggest the Realme Q3 Pro. If you haven't seen my past comment, I have one since around August. I got lucky as I got this for $290 with vouchers. It has also the Dimensity 1100 but has AMOLED screen and earphone jack. You'll miss the infrared and NFC (if your region has it), but I don't use both so no loss for me. Also love the 653K score on Antutu. I didn't experience any problem during my use. The only thing I don't like is the fugly "DARE TO LEAP" slogan molded for 1/3 of the entire back shell 😂 Aside from that, it's a really good phone.
