Anonymous, 22 Feb 2021Are you sure just so simple, do you need to root the device... moreNo need for root. It's really that simple lol.

1. Install any GFX Tool.
Popular ones are PGT Pro, Gamers GLTool Pro, GFX Tool for PUBG, Flashdog, and Battle Grounds Advanced Graphics Tool.

2. Do the following settings:
Resolution: 1280x720
Graphics: HD
FPS: 60
Style: Colorful (your choice)
Shadow: Enable
Shadow Quality: Low
Shadow Distance: Ultra (your choice)
Shadow Pixel Resolution: Low
Dynamic Shadow Rendering: Low
MSAA: Disable
MSAA Level: 1x
FXAA Level: 1x
Antisotropy Level: 1x
Texture: Low
Detail Mode: Low
Color Format: 32 bit
Objects & Material LOB: Low
Light & Extra Effect: Disable
Water Reflection: Disable
GPU API: Vulkan (try OpenGL too)
GPU Optimisation: Enable
Sound: Low
Simple Shaders: Enable

*Note: I recommend copying your "Controls" settings on Layout 2. Because on some devices, some gfx tools reset the Layout 1 control settings.*

Personally, I consider PGT Pro best. Followed by Gamers GLTool Pro.
You should support the developer by purchasing their app, but there are unfair ways to get them for free (mod/patch) if you can't afford them.

You'll find step by step instructions. Basically, you download a zip file & extract it to get config folder.
Then you copy paste that config folder deep inside pubg/tencent folder, which is in Android - Data - com.tencent etc.

Very Bad experience with Poco X3. Dead in 3 months. Display started flickering and device is non functional. Worst part is service center will reject your warranty claim by blaming you. Horrible experience with Poco X3. Out of all devices that were used, Poco X3 was bad and it is the only phone that died in 3 months of purchase.

Concerned user, 18 Feb 2021Hi. Just opened a box with x3 nfc. After powering it on ... moreTap on "show password" so you can be absolutely sure that it is the correct password. Your router's password might be containing a currency symbol. Do note that the currency symbol setting of your keypad is dependent on the default language setting of your phone. You might be inputting $ instead of £ or any other currency combination.

I don't think you can do anything about that. The vibration at the back is as a result of the Stereo Speakers effect. You can go to 'settings', look for 'Accessibility settings' check for ''Sound' and try to adjust the sound balance to the Right(R). That will tilt the vibration effect to the other side and it make it minimal.

There is something wrong with the earpiece speaker. The sound leaks and the person next to you can clearly hear the caller. Also the back panel of the phone vibrates when watching a video.

Other than that the phone has been ok.

Gul, 20 Feb 2021Hey man yes the battery life indeed pays off in the long ru... moreAny GFX Tool will do. But personally, I like Gamers GLTool Pro because I feel it gave best performance in PUBG on my old phone.

                              1. After installing it, it'll guide you to download its addon application (Graphics Manager with GFX).
                              2. Click "Select Apps" & select PUBG from the list.
                              3. After confirming, click on PUBG & then Graphic Settings.
                              4. Here you can unlock all graphics as you like! :)

                              As for settings...
                              - Select 1280x720, HD & enable Shadows.
                              - For best performance, you should lower everything that you can lower & disable everything else that can be disabled.
But in this case, you should just keep those 3 settings high & lower everything else.
                              - In Shadow distance, I increased Shadow distance but lowered other shadow things.
                              - You can play around with them if you'd like! :)

                                Total: 20 hours 50 minutes.
                                SOT: 10h 49min
                                Standby: 10h 1min

                                Usage:
                                PUBG: 2 hours
                                Facebook: 2 hours
                                YouTube: 1h 30min
Messenger: 1h 10min (on Video Call)
                                Reddit: 20min
Other Apps: Chrome, TikTok, WhatsApp, Video Player, Music Player & Camera.

                                Note(s):
                                1. This test is from 100-1%. Previous test was 100%-10%.
                                - I estimate that previous test (60Hz) would give 11-12 hours SOT, while this test (120Hz) would give around 10 hours SOT - if I had used same apps for same duration, from 100% to 10%.

                                2. Battery Saver was turned on in this test, which decreases some battery drain caused by background activities.
                                - Good thing is that it doesn't decrease performance nor display quality, so I can safely leave it on 24/7.
                                - I estimate 60Hz test would've given between 12-14 hours SOT with Battery Saver.

                                3. I also confirmed that I don't lose 1% battery every 2 hour on Standby. It's actually less. But I haven't figured out the number.

But I think Redmi K30 probably has better camera. It has depth sensor in selfie camera, which hints that Xiaomi tried to make its selfie camera better as well. Poco X3 stock selfie camera is just average/good enough.
You'll have to do your research about camera. If possible, compare them yourself in real life.

Mine never heats up like that.

What do you mean by lagging? Which app/game are you talking about?
